I was close to taking out a ROFO Rewards card, and now I may only come to RFS if I have no other choice, if at all. Twice in less than 24 hours I went to 2 different RFS and had to wait to pay with cash. In the first incident at the store on Caton Ave in Baltimore near the I95 junction, there were 4 registers. One was allegedly closed and the other 3 were self service. Of the self service ones, 2 didn't accept cash. Since someone was using the one with cash, me and another customer had to wait despite the fact that there were 3 other registers and an employee standing behind the counter. When I asked about being serviced on the 4th register, he said it was closed. So no registers were being manned by an employee, he just watched customers wait in line and check themselves out
In the second incident at the store on Edmonson Ave in. Catonsville, it was the same thing, except that the cash-taking register was manned by an employee. I again had to wait despite 3 other registers and another employee looking at me. This is terrible customer service. First of all, all registers should be able to take cash. Secondly, there should always be a regiater for an employee to process customers. I know more and more stores are going to more self service kiosks and squeezing people out of jobs, and not passing on the reduced labor costs to the customers, but it is getting out of hand. Make some changes and recommit to proper customer service, or else you may not be seeing me and many other fed up customers anymore.

Cups and lids weren't stocked. Several drink machines were out of order. Cleanliness was low overall. Not a good Royal farms location

I just left this gas station with a awkward feeling, I asked this light skin girl who had one front tooth if they carried woods and she said no and mentioned the gas station next door has what I’m looking for and I told her I was not comfortable with going over to the one next door and I mentioned it looked a bit sketchy. I guess that offended her because she looked at me with displeased after I said that and went oh they’re nice and condescendingly said if you’re brave enough to try them one day then mentioned something about not judging a book by its cover. I’m sorry but when it comes to my safety when going to gas stations at night I don’t play around. The station she was talking about was poorly lit. Since she knew so much maybe she needs to go over there and get it for me other than that she need to hush. If I say a gas station looks sketchy at a certain time then that’s what it means.

Rofo is always an adventure and as Forrest Gump would say, ‘You never know what you’re gonna’ get!’ Some stores are clean and pleasant to visit, but you never know. Claiming rewards at the pump has become a wish more than a reality and gas is ALWAYS more expensive than other providers.

I was really excited when the Royal Farms had moved off of the corner, and into the bigger location. The store has its days where the chicken is hot and fresh, but for the most part every time I come in the store is always very dirty.

Just getting gas. This location is very small and only fits a few cars. There is usually a wait and line out of the parking lot.

For the past year and 4 months, I've been going to royal farms for money order. The only issue I have ever had was that the machine wasn't working. Today, at this location, I was told that it does work, but the amount I asked for was against company policy. This isn't even my first attempt at this store for a money order.
