I gave this store a one star because I had no choice the cashier was really rude not welcoming mad the entire time it seemed she hated her job and almost yelling at me when I asked a question it felt very discriminatory she was African American young skinny not sure of her name one good thing about this store though it has a lot of good K beauty skin care products

My recent encounter at Marshalls left me with a profound sense of disappointment and disbelief. From the moment I stepped into the store, I was met with an atmosphere that made me feel unwelcome and suspicious.
The interaction with the store manager, Corey, was particularly disheartening. His demeanor was not only dismissive but also condescending, exacerbating the already unpleasant experience. When I attempted to address the issue with an employee who was following me, the situation did not improve until I questioned their motives directly.
As a loyal customer of over a decade, it pains me to say that I no longer feel comfortable patronizing this establishment. The unfortunate reality of feeling scrutinized and marginalized solely based on the color of my skin is a bitter pill to swallow.
While I intend to reach out to the district manager in hopes of addressing these concerns, I hold little optimism that meaningful change will result. Regrettably, my experience serves as yet another example of the systemic challenges faced by people of color in everyday situations, including something as simple as shopping.

This review has nothing to do with the merchandise but has everything to do with customer service and pricing. I found a bent/ripped journal that was listed at $0.00 with the date of 4/3/24. I showed it to them and two clerks immediately said I couldn’t have it and it wasn’t pulled off the sales floor. As if that is my fault. I have seen similar journals before and purchased them for $1.00 or so although they aren’t worth that BUT neither of these clerks even offered me an alternative price. Yes I get it is free but that is what they had it priced and should have adhered to the pricing or suggested an alternative super cheap amount. The clerks were busy talking about who was scheduled to work to even pay attention to me or this idiotic experience. Yet I still spent $70+ there. May just return everything and avoid shopping at Marshall’s, TJ Maxx etc.

This is one of my favorite stores, so for that I won't go on to leave a bad review. I like how they always have such a large selection of pans, bathroom things, candles, hair accessories and so on. I came in today though, and the line was very long. I feel they should hire more people. They've always had such great deals when it came to things in this store, but the wait times for checking out should not be as long as they were
