Cannot think of a better butcher than this neighborhood gem hidden between Oella and Catonsville. It's just as their front sign says - "fresh killed" and fresh the meats are. Prices are higher than at Giant or other supermarkets, but the cuts and chips are really tasty and flavorful. Come here for the grilled meats in the summer and you won't go wrong. The store is not huge or big, but the variety of meats (and some fish) available will make your eyes water!!! Highly recommended.

WE WERE DENIED SERVICE!My mother went there around 4:30 in the afternoon, but the man inside refused to unlock the door for her. He told her they were closing for New Year's but this is the day before and the normal closing hour was 5:30!He still refused to serve her and told her to leave!VERY RUDE! WE WILL NOT BE STEPPING IN HERE EVER AGAIN!

JW Treuth is one of the best kept secrets in the area. Maybe not the place for a hardcore vegetarian, but for a meat eater this place is better than Disney!The freshest, tastiest and most delicious butcher shop in the area. It seems every cut of meat is available and all the staff are very knowledgeable about what is the best cut for what you want to cook. From beef, pork, lamb and chicken, they also have a great selection of fresh fish and local seafood. Fresh chicken salad and even soups and soft shell crab in the freezer. A great deli selection too. The bacon brisket is insane and great for burgers, lasagna or meatballs. Everyone is super friendly and efficient. Don't grumble about the line wrapped around the buiding on Thanksgiving and Christmas for your turkey, it really is worth it........but make sure you order it in advance. They have plenty of parking and the experience is always unique.
