The staff is amazing but the manager is a liar. I rented a truck for Uber and had it for about almost 4 weeks. Great income I was receiving. I received information when I called about a maintenance issue just to be told that the car need to be Maryland inspected which was a lie. I talk to Uber and they indicated that the truck just gotten and State inspection on Aug 2023 and it’s not due for another until 2025. They gave me a rental that is horrible on gas and the gas piece is completely came off. And the manger won’t call me back and I’ve been waiting for her call. I’ve called multiple times today and she won’t take my call.

The car rental experience and the people were nice.Until When it came down to refunding me my security deposit and extra day money back.Hertz never gave me my security deposit or extra day money since i returned the vehicle back a day early.It also looks like they charged me twice for my rental car.I strongly recommend not to go to this hertz location.

This place has the most incompetent staff I have ever seen. I don't believe they are trained in customer service or even how to use their system. If they don't know, they just say it's not their problem and ask you to talk to somebody else such as insurance company or customer service. The manager might seem nice but she is a liar. She said she'll compensate you with points for issues. Been almost a month, no point added to account.

So I tried to get a rental through Uber because my personal car was being fixed but because I do Uber eats in my personal car, that's why I tried to go with that option. So meanwhile I set my reservation the night before and got my reservation number email to me... So today something in me told me to call before I came to this location. So I called to see if they first got my reservation second do they have a car so I can rent through Uber. So once I got a hold of them they told me they didn't have and cars, and they do first come first serve, I had to call every hour on the hour to see if they have cars available. So I said ok. So the second time I call they told me the same thing but I told the rep why would it be first come first serve if I have a reservation I should be the first in because I set one. But again they said that's not how it works. So I said ok, but I was frustrated at this point. The third time I called I asked to speak with a manager so she said the same thing and what the reps was telling me it was right, and to call back. So on my last time calling I finally got through to one of the reps for her to tell me they ain't have no cars. And the rental time for Uber was over at 4pm and that if I call around that time to see what they would have for the 6th of December and I just gave up.... Terrible customer service and they should of told me off the break that they didn't have any rentals for Uber at the moment and to call on the 6th and not tell me to call every hour on the hour!!! So I advise if your trying to rental through Uber don't come to this location..... horrible horrible customer service!!!

Terrible customer service, I arrived for my RESERVATION and just for them to tell me that they don’t have any cars available and it is first come first serve and no notice beforehand this completely wasted my time and reservation makes no difference apparently

This place is trash made a reservation to pick up a vehicle spent over $45 in Uber just to go there and find out that the guy in front of me with no reservation gets a car and I’m left stranded save time. Do not go there absolutely trash.

Worst experience ever Doesn't matter if you make a reservation or not. You will not find a car if someone makes a reservation and it's confirmed. Cars should be guaranteed by all means

DON'T RENT FROM HERTZ AT THIS LOCATION! Hertz is running a bait and switch with electric cars at this location. I had a deal through Expedia for a Hertz car in October 2023, and when I got there, they told me I had to take an only slightly charged electric vehicle with warnings that if it went much lower, it would take a VERY long time to charge. They could not tell me how far it would go. There was NO CHARGING STATION at the facility, and they told me I would have to download an app and find a charging station myself. I refused to take that car, so for 1 hour while I sat there and they said they had no gas vehicles but then "found" one but charged me $450 MORE for that car. I had to rush to a wedding so had no choice but to rent a car. The whole time, other people were bringing back their electric cars saying they could not get them charged conveniently. They later told the customer service person I called that they offered me a fully charged vehicle, which was an untruth!! I would have taken a fully charged vehicle. This location and Hertz is running a SCAM with these electric vehicles. They are NOT charged the 70% REQUIRED by Hertz's own policy. There is no charging station at the rental facility. I believe this is done so they can charge TOWING fees if you bring the car back with a low charge. I am shocked at Hertz for this situation and shocked that Expedia would book it here. I felt sorry for the Hertz employees. It was obvious they were reluctantly carrying out the company's bad policies. DO NOT RENT FROM HERTZ!

I reserved a car from them for today at 12 pm. They sent me a reminder everyday for a week. Yesterday they texted me to confirm my appointment. I confirmed, today they sent another confirmation I confirmed. I got dropped off at work and to work. At 1130 I took an Uber to the hertz location. I walk in and the rude man up front says we ain’t got no car for you today, try back tomorrow. I explained I came from Pennsylvania I have no way back. He said yeah sorry. Meanwhile the lady in the Managers office is in there instructing her child who is sitting in the office. She hears the whole conversation and never once comes to assist. I asked why keep confirming or why not just call me and tell me beforehand. He replied we don’t do that here, first come first serve. They need to be shut down. They give Hertz a bad name. I had to take an Uber back to work and find a ride back to York. AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COST.

I just had an extremely frustrating experience trying to extend my rental. I had to make multiple phone calls, but most of them were disconnected while I was on hold. It took me almost an hour to complete a simple task. The lack of professionalism, etiquette, and competence displayed during the process was disappointing. I started calling at 3:06pm and had to keep calling until 3:52pm. It shouldn't have taken so long to complete such a straightforward request.

The new manager, Masomah and the customer service representative at O’Donnell hertz in Catonsville were extremely professional, also helpful and friendly. We reserved a standard seven passenger SUV . We were upgraded to a luxury SUV which give us plenty of space and comfort.Great customer service is the only reason I would ever use hertz or suggest using hertz to anyone else.There is nothing I can say that we didn't like about O’Donnell Catonsville Hertz besides the rental office space was small for the number of customers they get.We were very satisfied with the rental and we would use this location again.
