I love h mart, however recently it seems they have an issue with mold. I once bought cream puffs and went home to eat them and inside the puffs they were full of mold. I also got some peppers and once again, full of mold. These items were within date and opened either on the day of or a couple days after our shopping trip. Unfortunately due to this experience I’m scared to buy anything “fresh” and usually stick to snacks

I love this store so much. It has and will continue to be a staple for my grocery needs. The hours are fantastic and the bathrooms have been clean. I am so grateful for the assortment of foods that you can’t find at a “regular” market. The staff are mostly kind. The food that I regularly buy is fresh and doesn’t seem to have any shelf stabilizing chemicals so therefore has the potential to spoil faster, but I like that very much.
If you’re new to this type of market or get overwhelmed easily, go there when it isn’t peak hours, take your time and look through items, ask questions if you need (or Google), and don’t buy a lot when trying new to prevent waste and figure out if you like it. Happy shopping! ?

Bet that H Mart would get more sales if their ads were actually visible on-line. If I have to drive halfway across the state, it might be useful to able to see the ad before I decide that it is not worth the bother.

HMart has a wide selection of Asian and Latino products. We can find everything we need to make our favorite meals, and always a few treats and snacks. The store is clean and well stocked. There is some price variation so we keep an eye out for specials on the items we want. There are a number of specialty/exotic produce items you really can't find anywhere else so we will make the special trip across town once in a while to get there.

I love the variety of items I can't find every else, but make sure to check your recipe before you leave. I was charged for a $7 item I did not purchase and unfortunately did not notice until I got home and it was too late to return to the store.
