Once you use the club in some form, you will fully understand what I mean. “The ballroom is nice and spacious. Easily fits 100 guests without the place feeling congested/cramped and with more than enough space for a dance floor. Beautiful venue.Ballroom also has clean restroom facilities and a water fountain on the far side of the building. In that same hall is the kitchen for the caterer to set up and on the other side of the hall is a place where the bridal party can get set up. You turn a corner and there’s a separate room where our wedding event set up our bartender and catering table.The wedding itself which I attended was held in the pavilion - which I should mention is a little distance away from this ballroom so if you had a wedding/reception in these two different places, you’d need your car (both situated in the same area but the way leading to each has a hill and a block and a half distance away). Save your feet a little trek and do that minute drive.There is ample parking as well. Need not worry in that regard”

“Our event was moved to this venue. Cozy theater with historic charm. Would have been five stars except we arrived on time and they let us wait out in the cold for 45 minutes while they worked out their "technical difficulties."”
“Parking took 45 minutes. In the Garage, once you go to the top of the garage the only way down is to leave. The Theater was outstanding with polite ushers giving directions. It was clean and had excellent acoustics.”

“Just had an event here on Sunday and when I say this place will be My Place! The professionalism was on a million. Seriously. The gentleman who handled everything literally made himself so present. There wasn’t anything he didn’t do. Set up, break down, made sure my attendees were good. You can tell he loved his job and that’s important when it comes to an event space. The attitude of the staff can really help ease the day of jitters, that we all get as event planners.I have been telling people about MPK since I left. It was easy to book, the parking was plentiful, the facility was so clean, a major PLUS. The AC worked, another plus. And the event went so smooth, thanks again for everything! See you soon”

“First time and It was an amazing experience! I was there supporting A Touch of Lynay Creations LLC. The owner is in the white shirt (we're wearing her customed shirts). She creates and prints wording to press on her products! Overall Chill vibes, the band and different singing artists were a vibe. Food trucks, drinks and all the vendors were friendly and brought out their best products.”

Maybe not worth a drive on its own, but if you're going to Alexandria anyway, it's a nice quick stop!”
“Excellent food, attentive and kind staff, if seemingly understaffed, and a great overall location. Definitely great to get some filling and good food in the area, or get great happy hour food. The atmosphere is good, but excessively loud indoors — I only eat outside now, but the outdoor space is somewhat poorly heated by space heaters in the colder months, and can be somewhat messy at times. Overall, a good staple in the area.”

“We held a combo Lunar New Year party and one-year wedding anniversary event at Mess Hall DC for about ~40 people and it was spectacular! Working with Al and his team from start to finish was great. Al is super responsive, helpful, and was committed to helping us realize our vision for this event. He gave me helpful recommendations on vendors (we hired a food truck to cater the event and the served food to order at the fully equipped demo kitchen / prep kitchen set-up in the event space) that he trusted and had used in the past and was on site for our whole entire event. The Mess Hall Team were fantastic all night, especially our super cool bartender that Al helped to secure for the evening for our open bar. I cannot say enough good things about the venue, Al, and his entire team. If you're looking for a unique space for your event in the DC area, then definitely check Mess Hall out!!! All of our guests loved the space and everyone had a fun evening together.”
“I was truly blown away by how delicious every single dish at The Study was. As a Guatemalan, I found the creative use of Latin American ingredients and flavors in the unique dishes at The Study not only interesting and creative but also familiar and nostalgic. I love it when food takes me to a happy place. Chef Tomas Chavarria and chef Madeline Guzman can really create magic in the kitchen. Some of my favorite dishes included the kalbi ssam short rib lettuce wraps, the sweet plantain empanadas, the Costa Rican ceviche, the duck magret and achiote, the tres leches, and the coffee flan. I also loved the seasonal cherry blossom-inspired cocktail and the mocktail they prepared specially for me. I really loved the ambiance, and even though I had dinner here with friends, I think this is the perfect restaurant for a date night or for celebrating something special.”
“Not too welcoming in 2024, I applied there when they first came to the neighborhood . lot of white people, then I figured out why they didn't hire me you but you never know the Pearl and the oyster. I hope they change their practices. Expeditor could manage your time a little better especially when you got gumbo and salad, and then the barbecue comes out cold. It lessens the experience of having to take it home and warm it up. But those biscuits stop me in my tracks.”

“Post 41 certainly lives up to it's claim to be "The Friendliest Post in Maryland." It is run and frequented by friendly, down-to-earth people who enjoy seeing each other over good, affordable food and drinks. The Post hosts live music on weekends and does a lot of good in the community, sponsoring Cub Scouts, baseball teams, etc. It's not the busiest or flashiest place in downtown Silver Spring, but definitely a hidden gem.”

“5 stars across the board for this hotel- the room was unbelievable. Completely spotless, and just stunning all over. I was upgraded to the pres suite, the team at the Hyatt really took good care of me.The breakfast was top notch (I’m not even a breakfast person) and they took good care of my vegan cousin as well. Above and beyond with most things. I didn’t get to use the gym or the pool but stopped by it seemed to be decent enough for a good workout.The linens felt crisp and fresh, the pillows the perfect density. Bed was very comfortable.I used my 4 pm check out to take meetings and work from the room. The best part might’ve been the bathroom, honestly. Staff were friendly and truly helpfulAlso location is fantastic, by GW and George Town and walking distance to the Lincoln memorial and the rest of the park”
