I stopped at Tanzania auto repair when I needed an oil change and couldn't get in touch with my regular mechanic. I was able to make an appointment for the next morning. The work was done quickly, and priced fairly. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, but Sheriff offered great customer service and didn't try to sell me services I didn't need. Much appreciated!

My husband and I have had numerous things done to our cars at this shop (oil change, tune-ups, alignments, air and heat, etc). The most recent was my husbands’ Toyota Highlander where the tire was rubbing on something and the owner took whatever measures necessary to find the problem as he said he doesn't want the rubbing to cause the tire to get damaged which could inevitably cause the tire to burst. My husband sent me a text and said this guy is awesome!!! I think having that customer service-oriented attitude as a business owner and ensuring your customer's safety by checking every possibility to fix the problem is great customer service. Thank you Tanzania Auto Repair. His prices are much more reasonable compared to other mechanics we have used years prior. We would definitely recommend this mechanic to everyone we know.

As always, very satisfied with their service. Great customer service on a personal level. I called the office that morning concerning an issue with my car and was told to bring it on in. I was in and out in no time. Problem solved. They are very committed in the work they do. Very reliable.

Please save your time and money and don't take your car or SUV to this place, they have no idea what they are doing. I had my SUV towed here a couple of weeks back. I heard a noise coming from the engine, along with an burning smell, so I stopped driving it and had it towed to this place for inspection. I instructed the owner who is the lead mechanic that a few days before my car had the symptoms listed above, that my car had needed a jump a few days before, because it wouldn't start and no power was working on the car. So, with all that, he calls me the next day after dropping of my car to tell me that my engine had locked up and that the engine will need to be replaced. I was like how it's plenty of oil in the car, and i only have 160k miles on the SUV. So, I paid him the $70 for inspection and paid another $100 to get my car towed back home, $200 roundtrip. Long story short, I was able to get my car to start by starting in neutral first, per a friends suggestion. I then drove it to another place, and they said that the alternator is bad and there is nothing with the engine. I even spoke back to the owner and he was amazed and confused that my car started, and he didn't offer to give my money back. I even offered to take it back to him since he didn't get it right the first time, after I started it, and said he couldn't get to me that week, so I took it somewhere else. Avoid this place at all cost, you have been warned.

Had my truck towed to this shop a few weeks ago because my car wouldn't start. Told the owner/mechanic the symptoms. He called me after a few hours later and told me my engine was locked up. He also told me he didn't have equipment to pull engine out to test for transmission or engine lockup. It cost me $100 to tow it to him, and another $100 to tow it back once he said the engine was locked up. On top of the $70 fee he charged me to look at truck. I went they all that to find out now that, the water pump is the problem and my engine is not locked up. I talked to a friend, who had me start the car, while in neutral and low and behold it started. I then started it regular in Park as well. I say all this to say, I wasted my money on this shop because they know nothing about fixing cars apparently. My radiator needs flushing along with the water pump replacement and I'll be fine. Please do not trust this place with your car repair. I lost time and a lot of money trusting them. I even spoke back to him today, and all he could say was that's weird that you got it to start. I even spoke to him about replacing the water pump since he didn't get it all right the first time and he said not today call me back another day. SMH

Owner is honest and fair with pricing, he isn't trying to break your pockets... I was grateful to be recommended to him to take care of my Beemer!!! Quality work at a fair price!!! He uses OEM parts from dealer FYI ...he WILL make sure your right! Highly recommend for Beemer owners who don't want to pay dealership prices for service and are guaranteed quality work!!!
