They are bad at communication they called me about 10 times before my appointment I think I got three texts before my appointment I schedule my appointment a week in advance and then the day of they tell me they can't find my window they will call me back to let me know if they found my window and I never heard back from anyone after, it was such an inconvenience cuz I could have found somebody else instead of waiting on these guys

Went through insurance to get a cracked windshield replaced. Brought my car up there for the drop off at 8:00am they said my car was ready bit when I picked it up they called me and said they couldn't calibrate my sensors and they would have to order thw OEM glass from genesis. I returned when they said they had the part, about an hour later they called me to pick up my car however they did not put the ORM glass on because they said it came damaged, don't know why nobody checked on the glass before I dropped my car off. So again I had to reschedule another appointment. I finally was told the part was in today went to1 drop my car off at my appointed time 12:30pm. When I gave then my information the front desk lady (Alexis I believe was her name) looked confused and asked if I had been there before, I said yes this was my 3rd time coming up here, she asked me to have a seat. After about 30mins of nothing a technician asked me why I was there so I explained to get my windshield replaced, he asked why, I said because you guys didn't calibrate my sensors. Everyone seemed confused and started calling people on phones. Finally they ask for my keys. I asked if everything was good, they said yes. I live less than 5mins away as I'm pulling up to my house, my phone rings with safelite asking me to please come pick up my car because they need an additional part that I was told was ordered and ready. So I called my my insurance and switched locations. Don't waist your time with this safelite they are horrible at there jobs.

The young lady @ the desk told me that my chip in my windshield cnt be fixed & I should wait till it spread & buy a new windshield ???? I went somewhere else & they fixed it.. I'm never going back..

Really bad customer service experience. I had gone through the Safelite website. I put in my personal information and then I put my vehicle's VIN into the website and proceeded to answer the questions. I then received the quote and accepted it. I paid the amount on the quote and scheduled the appointment for 07/05/24. I received the confirmation email stating everything was good to go. Now on 07/03/24 less than 48 hours from the start of my appointment window, I receive a voicemail stating that not only will my appointment be rescheduled but that I will need to pay an additional $137. Then when I call the number back I get sent to a call center and then told I am being transferred to the shop. Waited on hold for 15 min until someone answered the phone. I explained the issues I was having and asked them to help. Instead the person who answered the phone said that the reason the cost went up was because I had selected to use aftermarket glass on the website. I said no that was not the case. On the website I was never asked a question regarding if I wanted an aftermarket or OEM replacement. I told them I was only asked to enter the VIN and select the glass location that needed to be replaced (Passenger Window) and then was given a quote and after accepting, I paid and scheduled the date to have it installed. To wait 8 days after the confirmation was sent to tell a customer that not only will their appointment be rescheduled, and to tell the same customer that they will have to pay an additional 50% more than the quoted price but to tell the customer that it is their fault that they “selected the aftermarket option” ( which is not an option on the website). Just all around unacceptable. It is unacceptable to not honor the signed work order and it is not acceptable to try and charge 50% more for a quoted price.

I took my vehicle to this Safelite facility for a windshield replacement and recalibration . My experience with this location was great; 5 stars. The office staff worked with my insurance carrier on my claim, including requesting an approval to replace my windshield with a OEM windshield due to the advanced integrated safety camera system.
The technician, Jayvon, was very personable and friendly. He explained the entire replacement/calibration service to me upfront, contacted me during the service to discuss a minor concern he noted in the process, and then met with me at the end to tell me how the replacement and calibration process went. Overall, this was an outstanding Safelite team.

Worst experience ever! Unprofessionalism at the highest! Call back to complain about the work and she put me on hold and disconnected me and never even called me back. Spent 2hrs there to find out they had the wrong glass.They put the molding back on wrong on both sides and its was about to fall off! Stay away from this place! Very disappointed. You give Safelite a bad name! If you have a high end car, take it to the dealership!
Appt Cancelled and filed a complaint! Bye
Clear example of no management in place and the people there could care less. Untrained, undisciplined and down right pathetic and that's me being nice!

Giving lowest rating possible. Tech was called out to repair a crack less than 1/4 in on my windshield. At end of “repair”, the crack was much larger and required a full windshield replacement (at significantly greater cost). I recommend not using this Safeflite location.

They serve a zero star! Had a repair done here. They made matters much worse, breaking a cable, leaving my door, unable to be opened. Had to order a part from Honda. Absolutely the worst! Avoid!!

I wish I could give them a zero. I have had several issues and problems with this company. On March 19 Demond the tech lost a part of my windshield is the first issue and he didn't report it like he said he would I found that out today March 30. I try calling them on March 20 to confirm that he reported it but couldn't reach them. Next issues we had a bad rain storm and now I have spots on the front part of my interior ceiling that wasn't there before they replaced my windshield. Now they are saying it not their fault. Now keep in my the tech took pictures of the interior and if those spots were there he would have made sure to take a picture of that so that they wouldn't be blame for it. He took a picture of the driver side where a 2 little brown spots are . So my question is why he wouldn't have taken a picture of this big spot if it was there. I will be filing a complaint with my insurance company, BBB, and safelite headquarters because this is unacceptable. Sommer is going to tell me that the black part around the outside of the windshield will seal when it gets hot outside that don't make any since . So if you have your windshield replaced in the winter you have to wait until the summer for that part to seal. If you review the pictures I attached you will see that the black part is not seal, you will see the missing part and the spots on my interior from the rain that happen after they replaced my windshield. I do not recommend that nobody use the Capitol Heights MD safelite because they don't take accountable for their errors. Again their tech who did the work wasn't reliable he never reported that he lost part of my windshield, you can not reach the Capitol Heights MD location on the phone. Their own call center couldn't reach them when I called them. Somebody was suppose to call me back never received that call back. I will be taking this all the way. I am starting with my insurance company since I went through them. This will also be reported on BBB. Just poor customer service all the way around.

I made an appointment online to have my power window repaired. When I got to my appointment I was told I had to go to auto supply store and buy a regulator. I should have been told that before appointment.

Ghetto no other word. Literally ladies rolling eyes n I pull up 2024 porsche emergency needing windshield replace. Even Danielle nice at first jump on the ghetto train. No empathy. Call dealer and end up being 3 times less- so lesson learn go to dealer they get the part from dealer anyways….I hate to say it but hate any business in capitol heights….
