1761 Ritchie Station Ct, Capitol Heights“The best experience I've had in yrs at home depot. Ms. Kim in the paint section was so helpful, insightful, knowledgeable and pleasant Her service just made my day.”
“Relentlessly helpful and plain spoken, I've asked a few things that they weren't sure how to answer, not many but a few. I know they weren't certain because they told me, I am not sure about that and don't want to give you bad advice. Go. Go again. They want to make your life easier and they succeed.”
9:30AM - 6:30PM
7902 Fort Hunt Rd, Alexandria“Love this store. It can be a little pricey but they have everything you need. A wide selection of random things: vintage candy, classic toys, and party, kitchen, and school supplies. The list goes on!”
“Edit: credit where due, they went out of their way to reach out and try to figure out a return option after this happened. It is much appreciated! It’s a typical Ace. Half the people who work here act so bothered that you’re interrupting them at the cash register to check out. Been bugged a few times but writing a bad review because they wouldn’t let me return a $75 product because the cardboard box it came it was partially ripped on the top flap (“unsellable”).”
“I just purchased a Weber grill from Village Hardware during a brief in-store visit. The salesperson was really helpful in process and set up assembly and free delivery for me. I called back to confirm that I would have the needed parts to attach the grill to my natural gas line and was assured that I would.Rick assembled and delivered the grill this morning. He had the extra adapter that I needed for hook-up. He took time to thoroughly explain functions and maintenance and answered all of my questions. He even shared a recipe. His demeanor and enthusiasm for service were simply extraordinary. Thank you Village Hardware- you have a new life customer.Jim MAlexandria, VA”
“Prices are a little high, but convenience and location make it worth while. Couldn't find the right size metric screw. Had to get some special metric screws today and they had them! Metric nuts had a high price tag.”
“The staff is very nice and helpful. I always see very attractive men in here the few times I've been. As a single woman thats always an incentive to come back!”
“The level of customer service here is excellent. I have a retrofitted grooming van with all kinds of custom hoses and fittings. One of them broke and I had a major leak. I explained my problem to Mike and he was able to retrofit a toilet supply line, a hose barb, and clamps to create what I needed. He cut and fitted everything on the spot. I will be coming here for all my hardware needs in the future.”
“My favorite thing about this place is they are kind to hardware dummies. No condescending tone no matter how clueless the customer. Plus someone always on deck to help you find something as soon as you walk in. Shelves always fully stocked -- and don't be fooled by the seemingly small size of the storefront. Plenty more supplies in back, next door in the paint store and upstairs in housewares.”
“This is a small neighborhood hardware store but they keep an impressive array of hardware, tools, paint, garden, and "lifestyle" items for most DIY projects. Where the big box stores are geared to accommodate contractors, Annie's aims for the individual and their residence. Staff is always friendly, the store is well staffed for their size so there's always someone available for questions or assistance. I really appreciate a hardware store that can still operate in the neighborhood without leveling 15 acres. Factoring in my time and general frustration with large box stores, the prices for a quick trip down the street are competitive with other options.”
“They are always helpful and very professional and knowledgeable about the different professions. It's far better than sitting in Harry Homeowner/ Home Depot for two hours to get a box of screws lol !”
“Love this Ace Hardware, everyone is so helpful and kind. After several failed attempts of copying my condo key at other hardware stores, Ace was the one place to get it right. Such great customer service, this is my go to hardware store!”
“Gregory was the best. I am a former 100% mystery shopper recipient at Logan circle, so I know what it takes for great customer service. And he had it. He had dreads and glasses handsome black man I hope that's his name?”
“The staff is very nice and helpful. I always see very attractive men in here the few times I've been. As a single woman thats always an incentive to come back!”

2900 52nd Ave, Hyattsville“I've ordered a lot of welding supplies through the Airgas Hyattsville location for my welding class at University of Maryland, and they are the absolute easiest to work with. Bernie is not only a top notch employee, but also a great all around guy. He has always been able to help me with any questions I have and I'm so thankful for his service.”
“Another satisfied customer Reasonable priced $. Fixed my grandmother's vacuum I got from her. Cleaned it up. ? ? you're in good hands here ?very kind on my budget.”
“Brought in a snowblower recently and it was repaired in a timely manner right before snow hit. When picking up my snow blower, i bought a ton of parts to stock up for my crew. Great service, knowledgeable employees, great products. This is my new go to place. Will definitely be bringing in more equipment to get ready for the spring.”
“I’ve known Jeff and his family for over 30 years while operating my Landscape company. They are always friendly pretty much an open door atmosphere and offer quality service at reasonable prices. If you need residential or commercial lawn tree or snow equipment, I recommend you go see him!”
“Very welcoming staff. It was the only place I could make a copy of an old key that I needed and could not get a copy anywhere. I am happy I found this place. The process was fast and convenient. I will come back.”
“Over the past few years, I have been purchasing plants for my garden and yard. My vegetable harvest has been great. They didn't have much to choose from last year and I'm hoping they have more for sale this year. Headed there now.”
“It’s the little things……I called in search of a small o-ring and was the attendant wasn’t certain they had what I needed but encouraged me to come down and show them the part I was looking for. I normally would call another shop, but her pleasant demeanor and professionalism nudged me in their direction. When I entered the store, I was greeted immediately. I initially looked over my shoulder, because I assumed the attendant was speaking to someone else until I realized she was speaking to me.While waiting in line, a gentleman appeared and asked if I needed assistance. I showed him my part and he provided two o-rings. He shook my hand, looked me in the eye, and said it’s free of charge. That said, Ferguson Supply’s professionalism and attentiveness made a first time customer feel like a regular.”
“Now under new ownership as Del Ray Hardware, there is slightly more room inside and it's a little easier to find what you are looking for. Staff are very friendly and eager to help and/or strike a conversation. Love that it was able to remain in the neighborhood. And that they are very dog friendly - we picked up a bag of pet safe ice melt and Penny utilizes the water bowl out front frequently. Plus, they have treats inside for any doggos who go shopping.”

7249 Landover Rd, Greater Landover“Friend recommended me and was pretty great service. I went their to get a key cut, then later programmed a smart key and the price was a way better than at a local locksmith or dealership.... It is pretty fast too. Thank you Mr. H!Have a good one!?2016 Scion tC owner”
7AM - 4PM
5700 Sunnyside Ave # F, Beltsville“I used to buy from them when they were located on Midcity Ave. 40 +/_ years ago. I was very pleased when I called the other day to enquire about a screw to use for attaching treated lumber to steel exterior deck framing. The person who answered was incredibly well versed on that particular very unusual application. Extremely helpful!”
“A fantastic place honestly, called to talk to them about fixing my dryer, though they didn’t have what I needed I thought I would have to buy a whole new dryer but speaking with the owner I was able to find out what part I needed (which was just the belt) and only needed to spend 8 dollars vs HUNDREDS for a new one. I love this store because even tho they may not have what you’re looking for they always put their customers and their customers pockets in mind”
7:30AM - 4PM
4501 Baltimore Ave, Bladensburg“What an awesome place! Don't let the name confuse you - they don't just sell door closers (and dam, they have a lot of them) - they carry many security products and low voltage as well as locks.Mike, the sales rep was awesome and was willing to wait for me couple of minutes after closing as I needed an item (that non of the other suppliers in the DMV had in stock locally) to finish a job.Another big plus is that buying from them you support a local business.Thank you guys”
6:30AM - 4PM
4817 Lydell Rd, Hyattsville“I love this place! While I hate having the good folks who work here slave over my frequent piddling requests for a matching bolt or two (anyone recall the search for a metric equivalent to a #1 that was 2mm in length?) I always buy my bulk nut and bolt purchases here to compensate. THANK YOU!”
“They can cut laser keys. Although I've been having issues trying to cut the key to work. The workers have all been nice and helpful we just can't get the key to work.”
