The staff at the Enterprise Rent'A-Car on central Avenue were great. While they were extremely busy they greeted each customer that came in the door very professionally. They didnt have the car I had booked with the 800 Enterprise's phone number, but was able to get me something bigger and better for almost the same price. When I returned the car, they were kind enough to give me a ride back home. The staff there are very professional and great workers. My only complaint would be that they don't answer the phone during busy times and they may just need a dedicated person for that task.

DO NOT GO HERE! This location is not abiding by contractual obligations to cover the difference of a rental (my insurance is maxed at $40, they are making me pay $10 per day because "they don't have any smaller cars" and I was forced to get an SUV). THERE IS A CONTRACT IN PLACE FOR A REASON. ENTERPRISE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR COVERING THE DIFFERENCE, NOT ME. I specifically ASKED TO BE NOTIFIED WHEN A SMALLER VEHICLE WAS AVAILABLE. Staff has been incredibly rude during this process and are not willing to reimburse me. Also lied to my insurance adjuster and said that "I specifically asked for an SUV" but my adjuster knew that was NOT accurate because I've had several conversations with her about this. They also told her that they would call me on 12/29/2023 and get me swapped out with a smaller vehicle and of course I did not get a phone call. I called them twice the same day to try and get this resolved and was on hold for 30 minutes. No one ever came to the phone. Called back again and no answer. Absolutely disgusted by my experience. Never again.

You book a car reservation, you choose a car model when you arrive, you are offered something different and you will pay for something better, that is not correct.

Nick and his Capitol Heights team are total professionals. Each time I visit, they are courteous and respectful to every customer. On my last visit, though it was nearing closing time, the representatives assured everyone they'll be taken care of as soon as possible. The constant reminders and individual attention kept everyone calm. These simple gestures were definitely appreciated by everyone. My hat's off to this well oiled working team. Keep up the good work!

I came to this place to pick up a rental since I was under the impression I can pick up one here.. the other lady with glasses was cool she greeted us and told us she will get with us.The girl sitting next to her with braids was giving an attitude as if we are bothering her!! We came in here with sense and didn’t come in here with an attitude… but you are giving attitude which will quickly rub off on me!!!!Girl with the braids responses are just rude.. her tone is rude she is telling us “ we can’t speak on other people” like how unprofessional does that sound for enterprise as a whole. She had no sympathy and was very nonchalant of us trying to get a rental car. If you don’t have customer service don’t place these people in the front period! People have enough going on in life to have to come in a place for help to be greeted with an attitude!!! UNPROFESSIONAL and why does the website allow you to select a car but it’s not available ??? Makes no sense at all update your website!!! BBB NEXT !!Addition!!!!There is a lot of people in the world that can become very irate because of inconvenience! This location has to stop playing with people’s time!! Reading the reviews from weeks, months and years ago with the same complaints is INSANE!! that girl in the front with the braids closer to the door needs to quit or be checked by management!! Before a customer checks her! If you don’t like your job simply get another one or put that girl in the BACK AWAY FROM CUSTOMERS!!I didn’t even wanna give 1 star but for the rules of posting this…sure ( yes I posted to BBB)

This Enterprise location should not be in business serving our community. The heavy young lady with braids at the front desk (didn't get her name) lacks professionalism, solicitude and customer service. Their website allows customers the ability to reserve vehicles that they don't have onsite. In my case, my insurance company submitted the request through an insurance claim, which I then spoke with an Enterprise representative to give me a 2pm appointment. Leave work to get there to get RUDE comments such as "the person who scheduled your appointment can't speak for what we have" All we have is a pick up. I politely asked do you know if the other location have any full size cars and was told "oh, I can't speak for what they have" instead of saying, I am not exactly sure, would you like for me to try contacting them to see. Especially, since I am the only customer in the store...very dismissive.A complete waste of people's time.Enterprise leadership really need to do a complete retraining of their staff to teach them how to speak/deal with customers, be more understanding and sympathetic of people's time and need for transportation. Enterprise also need to redesign their website to indicate to customers when there is no fleet that customers require onsite to avoid unsatisfied customers. An unsatisfied customer and an unprofessional employee is a receipt for disaster. Especially, given a time when mental illness is at an all time high. Take heed young lady because today you had the best of me. Might not be so lucky with the next one. IJS

My mom visited this location today and I can say the service was just TERRIBLE, RUDE, and UNPROFESSIONAL. The workers were very dismissive and had her come all the way up there from her job and no cars were available even tho she had a confirmation number. They told her that she should have waited to receive a call even after she showed them her confirmation number. No remorse was shown for their error or my mother’s time. So not only was her time wasted , but she couldn’t even finish a full day of work because of poor communication. 0/10. Unacceptable.

The very first time I booked with Enterprise everything was great and easy. The 2nd and 3rd time I attempted to rent a car however were awful. This capitol heights location “just opened” on Sundays and even though they let you book a vehicle online there is no guarantee you will get a vehicle unless somebody returns one. They only work off returns on Sunday. I’ve spent Uber money there and back 4 times due to them telling me they do not have any vehicles and that the website does not translate to the branch which is ridiculous. I also called and spoke to a rep and confirmed my reservation days prior. Long story short do not book on Sundays with the central ave location because you will be short and they will not care. Also the man at the counter told me they don’t have to be open on Sunday’s but he just is doing it as a courtesy which is ridiculous because I’m sure he is still getting paid for being on the clock.

After being let down by a different Enterprise location, I called the Enterprise at 7963 Capitol Heights as a last ditch effort to find a rental. A young lady answered the phone and understood my predicament. She physically checked inventory herself and confirmed that she would have a vehicle for me.Once I arrived, Kayla was able to sense my urgency. She was polite and expedited the process so that I could make my appointment on time. Kayla acknowledged my scenario and quickly provided a solution. Her attitude and actions took a huge weight off of my shoulder.After returning the rental, I came back in my own car, which had been in the shop for the past week, to drop off an item. While I was about to leave for yet another appointment, my car battery died. Two gentlemen, Ricky and Tyler, the manager, recognized my urgency and sprang into action. They went above and beyond by quickly assisting me and jump-starting my car. Their attitude was sympathetic and kind.All the actions displayed by the staff, including Jauslynn, at this location, demonstrate a consistent commitment to understanding and responsiveness. I thank them all for their efforts.

Kayla, Jocelyn, Alanna and entire staff at this location is absolutely incredible!!!! Professional and courteous. They fully explained any questions or concerns I had. The team at this location exemplified extraordinary patience and stellar customer service during one of the worst times of my life ( my car being stolen) yet this team was flawless from beginning to end. Everyone deserves a raise!!! Thank you! Michelle

The Ladies at this enterprise are doing very well at taking care of the customers. I’m rent from them all the time. The Customer are very rude and ungrateful to these ladies. They are doing there Best especially now working on Sundays. The Ladies are overwhelmed with Customers complaints. They’re doing there job and following Company policies….Ladies keep doing your Job and The Man above will bless y’all. You can please everyone…
