I want too I want to first off saying cubes I Richie well, the capital of heights Maryland is very professional security locks. Safe to me, and Tania ans Tracy from capital heights made my transformation very nice t they made me feel at home I would give this place a 5 star rating times 20. The manager and assistant manager were very courteous and helpful. Tania made sure I understood the CubeSmart system. She took me to my unit and let me used my code. There was no pressure.Most of all, both of them, Tania and Tracy took great pride in helping their customers.

The general manger , Tracy and also the young lady working the front Tamira where very upbeat and personable. Very welcoming understanding and interested in accommodating exactly what I was looking for. Lady keep up the amazing work. There positive attitudes are very much appreciated

MICE INFESTED!!!!!!!Three weeks ago on October 16, 2023 I went too my CubeSmart storage unit to only find my basket inside of my packing boxes eaten by a mouse with mouse feces laying on top. I left the unit to go to the front desk to file a complaint with the store. The lady at the front desk informed me that she would be sending an email to the district manager (Ciro Vigilante) and that I should file an insurance claim. I have filed the claim and I have yet to hear from the insurance company as well as any person(s) from CubeSmart in regards to this matter. I have called and left between 5-7 messages begging for a phone call. There is no number they can give me to HR or corporate, so the matter has not even been escalated. I pay $181 a month and have had this storage unit since June 2023. They are threatening to put a lien on my unit if I don't pay. However, I am unsure how you expect me to pay for a unit that it infested with mice and has not been addressed. I want to have my things removed and I should not responsible for the move or the storage fees moving forward. This is disgusting! I have contacted Stephanie Burdo, who is this Vice President and I have reached out to the BBB. I plan on escalating this matter and following up with this issue until someone hears and resolves my complaint. I am 7 months pregnant and should not have to experience such poor customer service as well as such deplorable conditions.

I haven't used a storage unit before so I was quite uncertain of the process or what to expect. However, Tania made it a positive experience she was very helpful and knowledgeable. She made sure I knew exactly how everything worked before I left and I was truly grateful for her help.

At 10:45 a.m. this morning, August 31, 2023, I walked into the CubeSmart and asked to see two units. The attendant informed me that she can not show me any units today because she is leaving for the day! How do you just get into work and you are leaving already with no one to cover the store?She never said come back later in the day, she said come back tomorrow.I also came here last week Wednesday at 8am an there were no signs on the door to indicate what time they would open for business.I chose this facility because of its location to my job and home.I guess I will take my business to Public Storage over in Upper Marlboro / Bowie area. I know they always have someone covering the store.Bad experience,Jermaine

I am deeply disappointed with my recent interaction at CubeSmart Self Storage and feel compelled to share my experience. As someone who is currently physically challenged, I visited their facility on Tuesday, August 15th, at 4:30 pm, hoping to view a 5x5 unit. However, the attendant informed me that the store would be closing at 5:00 pm, leaving her unable to show me the unit. This lack of accommodation and understanding towards my situation was disheartening.Determined to give CubeSmart another chance, I returned on Friday, August 18th, at 4:10 pm. To my dismay, the same attendant greeted me with an attitude that suggested I was inconveniencing her by requesting to see the unit. Despite my polite and pleasant demeanor, she made it abundantly clear that my needs were not a priority.To make matters worse, when I expressed interest in viewing the 5x10 unit as well, the attendant curtly informed me that I could only see one unit. As a local business owner in need of extra storage space, I was hoping to make an informed decision before committing to a rental. However, the attendant's dismissive behavior and refusal to show me the units left me feeling frustrated and disheartened.It is deeply disconcerting that the attendant, who should be the face of customer service, displayed such a lack of professionalism and empathy. Despite my physical challenges, I went out of my way to be pleasant and understanding, only to be met with indifference and rudeness. It is my sincere belief that the attendant should reconsider a role that does not involve direct customer interaction.Overall, my experience at CubeSmart Self Storage was incredibly disappointing. I was left feeling neglected and saddened by the lack of empathy and professionalism displayed by the attendant. As a potential customer, I expected better treatment and the opportunity to view the storage units before committing. Unfortunately, CubeSmart fell short in meeting these expectations, and I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

As far as price, I thought CubeSmart was ok. I don't like the fact that they MAKE you purchase a lock from them. However, I was traveling from out of state and needed somewhere that was seemingly decent. Due to me arriving on a Sunday, I had to submit everything online in order to receive the access and temporary lock codes. However, when I arrived, the access code did not work, so I had to call customer service for help. After 10 hours of driving, having to sit and wait for customer service was quite frustrating. Customer service gave me an emergency code and I was able to access the gate. I then began to unload my items and proceeded to my unit, only to get to my unit and the temporary lock code didn't work either. Frustrating. I had to call customer service back again and they then gave me a completely different code. Thinking I was accessing an online process that would speed up my process, was a major fail. I ended up not having time to unload half of my things and had to return the next morning in order to return the rental truck. Having an online system to speed up a process is nice but it's pointless when given all the incorrect information, which then resulted in me having to pay for another day to keep the rental truck.
