“Very unassuming place. Once I parked I was not sure I was in the correct area. It's at the end of an industrial strip mall. It has a great assortment of hardware some is salvage and some is dead stock. Inventory changes based on what they get. Overall I would say if you're in the market for vintage hardware or doors come here.”

“We've been to this merchant a few times. I have a differentability (thank you to my little great niece for changing my perspective ?) and I some times require an aide for walking.My husband and I found some beautiful hand carved canes here and at very reasonable prices. We receive constant compliments going through the airport home and even more when I use them as a walking aide.Purchased hand made leather shoes from here and my son was elated with his gift ?.The staff is always very friendly and you can meet some very interesting people here as well. The store has two levels so don't miss going upstairs. There is definitely a lot to see ? so plan on spending some time to find your treasure.With all that said a little more organization would be nice so you can better see the selection and they have cats all over the place which I was not a fan of. However, my family and I visit here pretty much every time we're in the area and we look forward to viewing their new offerings.Check them out! Hopefully you'll find something interesting of your own in your visit.”

“Had an awesome experience here! Mercedes was so helpful and absolutely lovely to chat with. I had pulled a skirt, didn't love the fit, and Mercedes suggested these beautiful silk pants. They were a little loose so Mercedes offered to walk me through how to take them in (I am new to sewing and mentioned this would be my first project) she took the time to explain and helped me pin them. It was very kind! Great shopping experience with gorgeous, unique vintage items at every turn. Will definitely come back.”

“529 Kids Consign is a two-level store in Old Town Alexandria inside a rowhouse. My little family visited after the annual St. Patrick's Day parade and picked up a dress for $20 for our six-year-old. They have the used clothes well organized and sell other goodies like toys, etc. Service was helpful!”

“My girlfriend and I stopped in while visiting Old Town this week. We immediately fell in love with the store. The owner, Eleanor, was just so pleasant to talk to and was so helpful. I’m not a fan of shopping but I even enjoyed myself! My girlfriend ended up buying two dresses. She can not stop talking about how great the store was! We definitely will be back!”

“Good quality clothing that's well organized by size and type, and good selection of housewares and linens. Prices are on the higher side, which seems to be the trend for several larger thrift stores. Also has some new items like socks, They have half-off sales around major holidays like Memorial Day and Labor Day, when you can score great finds at more reasonable thrift/used prices. Also got a carry on with spinner wheels for only $16 (Sept 2023), which was a great find.”

Nice selection of second hand items for work, casual events, or even the gym.I’ve also sold here, there process is a little slow, but if you decide to sell make sure you take pics of all the forms you fill out so you can keep track of the items yourself. You can have them send you a check or use the money for I store purchased.”

“A lot of people have the wrong idea about thrift stores(second hand stores). One friend said she would never buy someone else’s old, dirty, worn, hand me downs!!! WOW! I on the other hand love Thrift Stores! Believe it or not, I look for designer name tags in all of the garments and generally I have an idea of what color and what type of item I am looking to purchase. I found this cute little long cotton over dress to wear over summer pants! Only paid $12.77 for two pieces! Loved it.”
