I was impressed by the room. It looked nice. However, the heat didn't work. So while I had planned on taking a shower I had to wait for the technician to work on the unit. The technician worked efficiently and was apologetic. Then I went to take a shower and the shower nozzle wasn't properly attached I guess so I couldn't just turn it like you normally would. I had to turn it and manuever it for a while before it would turn on. Yes but I did finally get to take a shower.I called to find out when the deposit would be returned to my account. The manager called me back to tell me that he needed to release funds I paid for a refundable deposit back in May 2023 as well as January 2024. There is a $75 refundable deposit at this location. I appreciated his honesty and effort to ensure that I receive both deposits back.Also, they provide a piece of paper to put your phone number on and place on your dash so that they can call you if your car lights or alarm goes off?The staff was friendly and accommodating but I won't stay at this location again.

Overall outdated building. The water smelled funny/bad and left my skin and hair rough, also left my eyes red after a shower so I found that disturbing. Clean building though, but desperately needs updating.

The rooms were slightly above average but the front desk service left a lot on the table ie needing some growth or better leadership.The tvs need to be UPDATED! The middle age heavier set woman in particular was awful. The other two front desk clerks always spoke and were polite. The cleaning staff half cleaned the rooms and came at the craziest times for example 6pm. I had the cleaning staff walk in my room on three occasions while I was in the shower ect. The kitchen staff was awesome.Noteworthy details: No television guide and the tvs are so out dated it takes almost ten minutes to cycle through the channels. So after a long day of work your next challenge is to navigate the television.

Property is a little run down. Rooms are crazy small - like an interior cruise cabin. About 2 feet around the bed - maybe 10' square. Denise was absolutely the best, most friendly desk clerk ever.Rooms: I've never had this small of a room - not too much bigger than a queen bed.

I booked my reservation through Costco Travel as we have done many times before but this time around it was a different story. The minute we step into this property and no one was at the desk we knew we had made a mistake in choosing this location. The photos on the website were deceiving as the place did not appear as the photos posted online. The smell of marijuana through the halls downstairs was sickening. Upon entering the rooms and finding torn and broken furniture, dirty and stained carpet and door locks that were barely holding on to stay on the doors raised some serious flag. I went upstairs to see if we could check out and go find another hotel to stay but was told that I had to pay an early checkout fee. The fee they wanted to charge us for leaving early was equivalent to the same amount of the 3 night stay we had booked, even though we were not going to be staying at the location. They could not get hold of a supervisor or management as they do not work on weekends. During our 3 nights stay in this nightmare place there were a bunch of high school or college students running down the halls making noise through out the night, slamming doors, banging on the walls and once again the smell of marijuana just lingering through the hallways even though they are a so call smoke free facility. Multiple calls were made to the front desk regarding the noise in the hallway and the slamming of the doors and they did not bother or cared to do anything or cared for the other guests trying to get some rest. When asked to be moved from rooms the so call front desk person said they had no other rooms available. Upon check out I requested to speak to a manager and once again no one was available at the location. A day later I called and finally got a hold of a female supervisor. I explained the whole situation and experience we had and her response was what do you want me to do. If you have a complaint take it up with Costco Travel as they were the ones to book your reservations. When Costco Travel reached out the location they claimed they had no history of any complaint made by us. Once again, I say do not waste your money or time staying at this place. Stay away from it by all means. Poor customer service, dirty establishment and deceiving photos that are posted online. You can do much better somewhere else. If I could give them 0 stars all across I would. Costco Travel needs to rethink and review who they are doing business with as this is not an acceptable establishment and is bringing Costco a bad reputation to the company.Rooms: Dirty, broken furniture, stained carpetsSafety: Broken door locks, how can you feel safe?Noteworthy details: Stay away from this location. Find somewhere else to stay.

One night stay. The room was clean. Seems as though the was renovated, so it had some dated to it. The desk staff was very pleasant, explained everything thoroughly, and answered all questions. I appreciated the use of the quaint business center. The cost was affordable, and the hotel was conveniently located off the highway.

The service and the food gets a B. The location gets an A. The daily room cleaning gets an A. THE BATHROOM GETS A BIG F. The toilet seats are made for little kids. It is too low for the average adult to sit on, you might as well sit on the floor!! My elderly parents had to go to the lobby and use the bathroom because the toilet seats in the lobby were higher. Imagine that. This hotel needs to invest in new toilet seats and Holiday Inn Express and IHG Hotels Management stops be ashamed of themselves for making their customers site in a toilet like this. How about you come and sit on this toilet and you will see. The toilets are garbage. I’ll never stay at this hotel again!!

I’m giving this place two stars because overall when we first got to our rooms are cards didn’t work and we had to go up to the front desk to get a new card and it kind of made me mad because after a long day, you know you want to come and rest and then the next night my card didn’t work several times I tried it and it worked after a while of trying that was kind of annoying. I didn’t think nothing of it being in my phone case which I thought was the problem to why the card wasn’t working, but the next night the card didn’t work at all and I didn’t have it in my phone case I had it in my wallet with nothing else around it and it didn’t work and we had to go get ANOTHER card. In the rooms are kind of outdated. The water in the shower did not stay warm for a very long time or at all most of the time and it was very confusing to work the shower handle. It took me about like 10 minutes to figure it out because it’s not normal. Overall, the breakfast is pretty good except for the pancakes when they taste like cardboard and are hard like cardboard but other than that you have a big variety of food at breakfast but the white milk didn’t really taste like anything it just taste like water. The chocolate milk was very good though. on our last night here we came in and our rooms and they were not made nothing was clean like the other times, and the furniture was crooked and not in the same spot. It was before we left. This hotel is also very outdated they can use a few remodels.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Its not a four star, so if you are looking for luxury stay, its not it. It has old air/heating units in the rooms, which were fine and worked well, no complaints but again that old style, not central air. The towels are extremely small but you can get an abundance of them and the iron is old as well. Again if you are looking for a more updated stay then you will not like it. I say I enjoyed this because, to begin with, you can't beat the price. Also, it was in a quiet location but 20 min from most places around the city. The place was also clean. This should be expected but you'd be surprised by some of these hotels. We also received stellar service from the staff. They were extremely courteous and helpful. We got to partake in the free breakfast which was more than just a donut. They had a nice beverage selection and variety of breakfast food. I would stay here again for a quick weekend in Maryland area close to the Air Force Base. If I was spending most my time in D.C. I'd probably stay in a closer city hotel.

This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. It's about 20 minutes from Washington dc. We were with family and on a budget so we looked for budget friendly hotels. The staff was awesome. So we checked out all around there's only a few restaurants but the one that stuck out was called milk and honey. Great drinks great atmosphere worth the hype.

Tacky furniture in the rooms, felt like I was at a low-quality motel. Their "fitness center" is on the 2nd floor so rooms on the 1st floor can hear the free weights crashing into the floor. Quality of towels, bed sheets and pillows are sub-par. Disappointing experience. Jacuzzi and breakfast were ok.
