I was referred by my Godmother. I was able to get a same day appointment after work so I was ecstatic! They were really nice over the phone and in person. I was there right before my appointment time and was seated as soon as I walked in. The gentleman that did my nails did a pretty good job. I wish he didn't hurt himself filing my almond shape nails and with the extent of filing my fingers were a little sore after. In his vigorous filing he cut himself in multiple places and began to bleed ...which kinda freaked me out. I hope he is OK. I wish my nails were a little cleaner with acrylic clean up and polish. But my nails look very close to what I asked for.

I came here in search of a new salon, it was very welcoming and I loved the environment. I’ve been twice, the pedicures are AMAZING! I’d come here for that alone. Second visit I came on New Year’s Eve because I was told they wouldn’t be open New Year’s Day, to get my nails redone from the 18th, they were still looking good, I needed a color change for work moreso than anything. It is now the 2nd and my gel nails are coming off as you see on my thumb. I’m trying to fully just take it off and it’s pulling on some skin under it and it’s painful. Unfortunately I’ll have to get them redone way sooner than expected.

I can see why this salon has good and bad reviews. Pleasant staff and efficient. Personable as well which is great and isnt as common. Prices are also very reasonable. This salon gets 3.5 stars for me. There are a few things that could be improved to enhance the experience and have 5 stars all across the board:
1. Sanitize and/or wipe down surfaces in general and between clients. Mop the floor. (Clean so it looks well kept; display your disinfectant methods, if you have them)
2. Ask your client which shape they want. And take time to shape it. I wanted square round but some of my nails are wonky and I didnt think to ask them to fix it, thats MY fault. Im sure they would have
2a. Clean up your clients nails after shaping and rinsing.
3. Display the prices. Although very reasonable and subject to change, its always good for your client to have an idea of what they are going to pay.
Otherwise, I will go again and check my nails thoroughly after shaping mainly because of the personable staff, reasonable pricing, and the efficiency. Maybe after my 2nd visit my review will change to 5 stars. ?
