Would give a zero if I could.
In what will be my last interaction with them, system said 3 scripts were ready, after waiting in line for 30 minutes, they said they had nothing for me and that doctor denied my refills, a bold faced lie. Doctor sent scripts again. Next day, system said I had one of 3 ready and it would be $7ish. Called later, and system said 2 were ready and would be $320, last time they were $32. I called to speak with person to confirm they were ready and asked about price. They hadn't run them thru insurance (4th time this had happened). After they did, it was still twice what it had been previously. When I questioned it, they put me on hold and then manager got on the call since I had launched complaint with corporate. Proceeded to not apologize or take on responsibility for staff incompetence, instead trying to sign me up for texting system and assure me the increased price was correct. When I went to pick up scripts, manager came to window to again to tell me he'd included pricing analysis with script and that the high price was correct due to increased dose. Trying to maintain composure I paid snd left. When I got home, I compared what they gave me and what my script said and they TRIPLED my dosage!!! If I hadn't been on the ball and taken it, I could have had a heart attack!

I have been calling since Friday. Please get some help with the phone lines. They say thank you for calling Walgreens. Please hold. They never come back... This has happened 7 times already this morning. I am unable to view my prescriptions online for some reason.I am contemplating going to another pharmacy. I urge the staff to correct this behavior immediately....
Addendum: The problems continue after several weeks. I finally got through and they said everything will be ready by 3PM! When I got there, the clerk said the pharmacist will not fill my rx bc it was 3 days early. I called my insurance and they said it could be processed up to 4 days early each month considering it's PRN medication. I have been calling all morning, no answer. They put you hold then hang up..
6/22/24 My husband picked up my meds and ofc they forgot the most important medication. I called several times and spoke with them about this particular one. I do not believe this was a coincidence. They Intentionally did not give my husband my medication knowing I had already been a few days without it, I can have a seizure when I go to long not taking.. This pharmacy needs to have a supervisor over the pharmacist and workers. They act as if they can do whatever they want whether it's legal or not!!! I will be documenting and recording any further contact with this pharmacy!!!

I live an hour and a half from Cambridge, but since I was going through there on my way home and needed a refill on a prescription , I decided to have it refilled at the Walgreens in Cambridge. The clerk checked and told me that they had enough pills to fill my 90 day supply. After a 50 minute wait, I got the prescription and purchased a number of other items at the same time. When I got home and opened the bag that my prescription was in I discovered that there was only 5 pills in the bottle. I called the pharmacy and was told that they only had that number in stock and the remainder would be in tomorrow. I told them that when I requested the refill their clerk checked and told me that they had the 90 day supply.
I asked to have the prescription transferred to my local Walgreens. Because it was partially filled at the Cambridge Walgreens, it could not be transferred to another Walgreens. I checked with my local Walgreens, and they had plenty in stock, but they couldn't help me out because of the policy. I have to drive back an hour and a half another day to get the rest of my pills. This is a poorly managed pharmacy. They had lots of help, but there were long lines inside and out causing long wait times.

Called to see if I’d been set up by Riteaid, who closed. Held for 23 minutes then hung up on. Called again and hung up on after I minute. Called again, picked up and set the phone on the counter. I could hear them picking up calls… hung up on AGAIN. I never got to speak to anyone. Poorest customer service on the Eastern Shore.

Changing my mom's prescriptions from Rite Aid. Set up on the website, within 2 hours got a call from the Walgreens Pharmacist. Walgreens was able to refill 2 of her prescriptions as they are waiting for the doctor to send over the scrips for the expired med's. I had the info for the new insurance and called back to give the information and spoke to Christina. WOW she was awesome, so polite and knows what to do. Thank you Christina for taking care of me this morning and getting my mom's account straight!

If I could do zero stars I would!! This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used in my life. They don’t reach out to you and let you know when your prescription is ready. I’ve stopped in three times in one week for a prescription that was put in days prior, and I was told that it was still being filled. I call back later since I haven’t heard anything and they tell me it’s already been filled and they can’t fill it again I would have to contact my doctor. I asked if they had my number on file, and they said yes, but gave no excuse on why they didn’t give me a call or send me a text message when I opt into texting for my prescriptions. The wait times are ridiculous and the customer service is terrible. Just completely shut the pharmacy down! The workers in the pharmacy show no care in the world. I will never return back to this pharmacy ever again. I would walk in and it’s like I would be invisible, No greeting or anything at all. I’ve literally watched an employee look at me in my face and start talking about taking out the trash instead of at least saying I would be right with you. The employee walked past multiple times, and was talking to someone else in the back without even letting them that there was someone upfront waiting. The last straw is when I called over the phone to check for my prescription and I was put on hold three different times, someone then picks up and asked me if I’ve already been helped. There’s no communication at this location.

Was in the store last night and immediately greeted by a young man... I mean "person" who was wonderfully friendly!! He helped me find a few things I was looking for and I just want to say he is truly a positive addition to Walgreens!! Oh, and his name is Byron!!

This Walgreens has made major changes!!!! All because of one individual. That is Pharmacist Anas. There has been a marked difference. He cares about each customer. I have watched his interaction with customers and us. Can't say enough and it is being contagious with his staff in a great way

I had a most pleasant experience with Hennessey, one of the pharmacy service managers this morning. I deal with Walgreens here in Cambridge, and in Florida and have always had mixed results with customer service. Today's experience was five star, and Hennessey provided a model for how all, retail employees should interact with customers. There were two customers in front of me, each with unique issues that required more time and attention. Hennessey handles each one with exemplary customer service in terms of her caring, competency, and efficiency. I had a coupon from the drug manufacturer that also required some extra attention and Hennessy handled it quickly. it seems like good. Customer service is a thing of the past, and it is most refreshing to find an employee who exemplifies what customer service should be. Kudos to Hennessey and wall greens. As a footnote, this might be the very first time I have given five stars on a yelp review
