I was very disappointed! I dropped my vehicle off with a fluid leak and it was running rough. I was contacted the day before Thanksgiving of what part I needed to order, Jay couldn't tell me what the part was over the phone so I had to find a ride down for him to show me? I asked him what was my bill at that point and he couldn't tell me,I ordered the part from a local auto store and dropped it off the next evening after they closed. I never heard back after leaving multiple messages the day after Thanksgiving for 5 days. I went by every day and my car had not been moved. So when I did hear from the owner he told me that he replaced the part I purchased and it was good and the bill was 325.00 for removing hoses at the back of the engine and the part I supplied was put on and put back together. I picked it up that Friday afternoon and the bill didn't list how many hours he worked on it , just a short description of what he did and the price. I left and drove a total of 10 miles and my car stalled 5 times in 10 miles. I called him and he said he was busy with other customers and that I would have to come by and I told him I was trying to get back. He immediately stated that the issue I was now having had nothing to do with what he did. I replied, well it did not have this issue before I dropped it off, he then tells me he had to put his battery pack on my car 4 times while he had it! I had just put a new battery with less than 50 miles driven on it and that I never had any issues with the battery and it Sat in my driveway for weeks. So I paid 325.00 and left with more problems then I had left it with. I also feel that his bills should show the labor time in total because I supplied the part. And I just find what I was charged high and now have 2 new issues that are worse than before leaving it. I am very disappointed, because I didn't think that I would be this unhappy by any means. I also think that he should have had some ideas of where my bill was when I asked before I supplied the part he said I needed.

Friendly, honest, flexible. Since we've moved to St. Mary's County we continue to take our cars there for serious work. He was even able to install parts we ordered online once. He was a great guide on what to get and how..give them a call, it can't be anything but helpful.Services: General repairs & maintenance

It sure is nice to have a trustworthy mechanic in my own neighborhood. Jay has done much of the non-warranty work needed on three of my vehicles over the past decade. He has run fuel lines, changed brakes, replaced exhaust, installed trailer hitches and wiring, diagnosed no-starts, and more.
