This store will try to cheat you on returns. Returned an item this morning I purchased yesterday and was replacing with a more expensive item. The manager Alexis would not refund the entire amount even though I was showing her my online receipt/confirmation in my email. The policy at this store seems to be they will treat you honestly only if you are a rewards member. Was only 15 difference, but still dishonest.

I happen to like petco. My husband and I go there to get our fish feed and food and items for our spoiled pup. The staff seems curtious and they are very informative when asked a question. Until otherwise proven that's my opinion have a blessed day.

Well you closed your bathrooms blamed it on COVID funny businesses in the same location theirs open and you change your hours to open at 1030 why? COVID? You've lost me and pet smart not even 1/2 mile away opens at 9am. I spend about $300 a month on food. Me and three other customers went to pet smart this morning. How long will you last? It's all about customer service.

I went to location to sign up for beginner training classes for my 7 month old puppy. I have trained dogs for 40 year two of my dogs were service dogs that I trained. My puppy needs exposure to other dogs and people. She has been to private classes but needs exposure. After waiting 30 min to speak with the trainer, the trainer I talked to was rude and suggested that I needed private classes because my puppy is not food motivated and the trainer is overwhelmed because they had to fire another trainer. She was to give me the name of other trainers that have private lessons. I was so frustrated and upset I payed for my items and left with out the information. Will look somewhere else for training. This is the Petco in California Maryland

I am very disgusted by this establishment because I have been taking my dog here for a while and I wanted to get him washed today so the lady said we cant take him because he bit her but when we picked him up she said it's fine all he did was nibble my finger but it's alright now there telling me he not allowed in Petco I'm very disgusted and upset with Petco and I will not spend another dollar in this place

This place had turned into a dump. We've been taking our dog there for some years now, and this is by far the worst it has ever been. A lot of the lights in the building are burned out and it makes it look very dark and ran down in there. My wife took our dog to the grooming department and she waited for over 10 minutes for someone to show up but no one ever did, she then went and asked the cashier if anyone was working and he told her he didn't know, so my wife left after waiting 10 more minutes for anyone to show up. This place is looking and acting very ghetto. We will be looking for a different place to take out dog from now on.

If they had a "Negative Star", I would give them that. ***DANGER FOR YOUR PETS****. I will keep it short and simple, don't take your Dog here, UNLESS, you already have a specific groomer that has not caused havoc on your pet, before, or make sure they have knowledge of your pets breed, and what type of fur, and the care that goes with it. Or, If you just don't give a Crap about your Pet, then "THIS IS THE PLACE"... So we Brought in our Baby for a "TRIM", and we were told they might have to possibly shave behind the ears and his axilla, do to "matting". Well, had we known that the groomer was : a) Newby, b) had "NO" experience with our Breed, c) Other Groomers were just as unknowledgeable, we would have never, ever, EVER, left our baby there for the torture, trauma and sadness they caused our boy. He went from having a Full on Fur "Imagine a Husky", only bigger, to a Bald, I mean, completely BALD dog. BUT, she left his TAIL full of fur. When we saw our baby, we were in shock, and not to mention how he was whimpering, and shaking of fear, and prob. trauma. The response we had from the Groomer was, "He was fully matted", so he had to be shaved.. Well, had you know about his breed, you would've realized, that they have (2) coats of fur, and you only trim the top one, and NEVER... EVER..!!! shave them fully. Not only did they traumatize or dog, but we were accused of being BAD PET OWNERS, because we allowed the dogs Fur to be get matted... Ahhh noooo, The Dog gets Brushed Frequently, and Carefully, and ..... YOU ARE THE INCOMPETENT ONE, WHO DOESNT KNOW SQUAT ABOUT DOGS AND THE VAREITY OF BREEDS AND WHAT CARE EACH ONE IS TO GET. & to TOP it OFF, the "SERVICE Sucked, and we still Paid Big Bucks". So, full warning people, DONT GO THERE EVER, unless you want your fur babies abused, and tortured. BTW, (4) days later, and our dog is still not back to his happy self, barely eats, and his skin Now has rash spots, and he is so sad. To top it off. "CORPORATE, was to contact us back, and Like the Staff at the Place.. DID NOTHING.. I originally wasn't going to say a Word, but after reading so many Negative comments on this place, I decided to speak up, and fully warn others of the damage, carelessness, and lack of knowledge and compassion this place has..

When I call to make an appointment they told me my appointment was at 9. So I get up and bring my dog at 9 appointment to find out that they don't open up until 10. While I'm standing in the store for 15-20 minutes no one will come and say anything to me even though they were in the back room to let me know that the store didn't open up until 10. So I had to ask the girl at the register and she let me know that the store open up at 10 even though they gave me a pointment for 9. So I feel I will take my service somewhere else thank God they open up a pet mart
