BEWARE!!! Had four tires installed and they ruined all four of my rims. Nearly $3000 in damages and their insurance company is a joke, they want to install aftermarket rims and the labor cost to install is a joke - not even their business charges that little.

Went in for a tire repair. I was in and out in 20 minutes. Willam was polite and respectable.

I'm normally not one to leave reviews and I'm sure the employees I'm dealing with could care less. We had a new set of tires put on in Nov, then got a flat 2 weeks later, and took advantage of the road hazard warranty. Should be great right? No. The employee had me come all the way to the shop and go through the warranty process as if they could service the tire right then, only to tell me that they didn't have the tire once I pulled around to the bay. Okay, whatever, when will it get here? It's been 8 days and they can't even tell me if it's been delivered or when it should be and the employee pretty much said he will get around to looking when he feels like it. 0/10 also if I wanted to try another BJs location I would have to go back to this one to refund the warranty process and start it elsewhere. Horrible service and a horrible process.

Apparently they are having personnel issues but I was greeted by a tech, Al, who was more than helpful trying to resolve my order issues. Though he could not fix the problem, he did his best and provided excellent customer service.

At the California, MD BJs, I have been trying for more than a month to have a tire under warranty replaced. To help out management I even offered up a solution to exchange the tire with a suitable substitute, not the exact same,, but didn't get a response.. I have had zero resolution from the store management even after multiple conversations. Today, I went to the tire shop at 3:00PM, but the attendant asked me if I could come back tomorrow. I said why, and his response was "they're under staffed" @ 3:00PM, with a closing time on the door for 8:00PM. The attendant was rude and disrespectful even in this brief exchange. Whose running the asylum? This certainly is no world class organization. As a Veteran, it's disappointing and frustrating to see incompetent people in leadership positions. An organization's management and workforce should give a damn about its customers, if not, find another job. I still need to have a tire under warranty replaced! This has gone from 2021 into 2022, and the clock is still ticking.

Found a tire I needed online, but didn't need installation. Called to verify they had my size in stock, but after being on hold 10 minutes, the Optic Dept. picked up, then put me back on hold, only to be disconnected shortly thereafter. Drove to the location, waited in the waiting room for about 20 minutes, rang their hidden doorbell three times, but no one ever responded. A guy wearing a large hat and gold-rimmed sunglasses came in with a Propane customer and basically told me the "tire guy" wouldn't respond, so I took my business next door to Mr. Tire. I understand COVID's still causing problems in addition to supply chain issues, but this poor customer service is inexcusable.

I just tried to go in and order tires. I was told they are to busy and will not help me. I will never buy tires from BJ's in California MD again and I will tell everyone I know do not buy tires there .

Always under staffed or just poor service. Takes up to 15 mins sometimes for someone to help you. Once a staff member shows up, they are helpful and courteous.

Would have given 1 star but the guys who work there are friendly. But I will never buy tires from BJ's again. The experience was a hassle from start to finish and any money I saved on the price of tires was instead spent on having them properly balanced at another shop 2 weeks later. I've had to go back there 5 times this month for the same tire issue. Some other standout moments from those appointments:-My car would not start in their garage after mounting the new tire and I had to jump it myself! Using my own cables and battery pack. In their garage.-Instead of mounting my full size spare under the car where it belongs, the mechanic just put it in the trunk. Didn't discover this until I got home and had to then go back and ask them to do it right. But by then (5PM) they had locked their doors for the evening (even though their posted hours say they should be open until 8PM).-Tire light came on and seemed to be a slow leak. Took it in and they said they couldn't locate any leaks. They put air in it and sent me on my way. Drove to NY and back and the light kept coming on. So I took it back to them. This time they were able to find the problem: a full size drill bit embedded in the tire. Not sure how the first person missed that.-After signing the paperwork and getting my receipt, I was pulling out of the parking lot when the mechanic, holding a tool, waved me down and stopped me. When I asked what was wrong he said "I've got to tighten the lugs." I couldn't believe it.Long story short - you'd be better off paying full price somewhere else for better quality service and mechanics who actually care about their work, your car, and your safety. The mechanics at BJ's seem overwhelmed and give the absolute bare minimum effort.

I had an appointment at 1pm and I was told that another customer that previously had canceled showed up and that he could not do my car. He said that he might be able to squeze me an hour later, but did not want to commit to it and than walked out on me. Don't go there if you don't want to waste time. Never again!!!

They never pick up the phone. Have to wait just for the membership people to tell me there’s no one back there in the very end. Other than that they are fairly good with mounting tires!

I am giving this five star review to an employee named Paul he went the extra mile to find out why my tire had not arrived when it was scheduled for next day shipping. I had been stopping in everyday for a week to see if my tire had arrived. I had to stop in because no one picked up the phone when I called. Anyway, every other person that waited on me looked at the computer and said no it’s not in. When I asked why they said “oh it could take a week” even though it was supposed to be shipped next day. Paul was the only one that took the initiative to check with the manufacturer, and yes there was issue and my tire was shipped out late and will be installed by the end of the weekend. Thank you Paul for the great customer service!

Every year I have a problem with BJ's customer service. This year their main office sent me a renewal card for $20.00. I took the card to the register to renewal my card. The lady at the register said " you already have a military discount you can't switch." I showed her the card that was sent in the mail and she said " Sorry you can't switch." Why pay $44.00 to renew my service when I can pay $20.00. There are no extra percs as a military member. Why send the offer at all if won't honor it.

Did a great job replacing the tires on my truck, I went in to order them, they called me when they had them in and scheduled a appointment to do the work,no issues came up,they even remembered to put on my special valve stem covers that I bought and I didn't even say anything about it to them because I forgot all about them until I went to pick up my vehicle, truck rides great again
