I had the worst leg wax experience there. It happened about 2 years ago, but never got around to writing this. To start, the woman who did my wax had no idea what she was doing. She didn't have the wax the right temperature and every time she would try to rip it, it would pull at my hair, but wouldn't rip it out, I don't think it was hot enough. She struggled with this for a while, but finally it kind of started to work. About an hour into the wax, and she wasn't even close to done, nobody's fault but her own. She had to cancel a hair appointment to finish my wax. I felt bad, but again, wasn't my fault. This wasn't my first time getting waxed, so I let my hair grow to the perfect length before booking the appointment, before my cruise. Anyways, we finish up around 2 excruciating hours later. When I get up to wipe my legs down to get the excess wax off (something she didn't do), I noticed there was still quite a bit of hair left. At this point, I was just ready to get out of there. I figured I'd go home and use my at-home wax kit to clean up the rest. Obviously this is upsetting because I was paying a lot of money to just have to go home and do more of it myself. The part that really upset me, is when I went to check out, they charged me AN EXTRA $50 because the appointment went over the 1 hour expected time. So here I was, having to pay $150 for legs that still had hair on them. I paid it, but called later to complain. The receptionist told me she'd have her manager reach out, she never did. I went on my cruise and it kind of slipped my mind, until just now when I came across this salon on here. DO NOT GET WAXED HERE, THEY ARE SCAMMERS. An absolutely terrible environment. I'm attaching pictures with the date as proof. I should have pushed to get my money back. I honestly still deserve it. How can anybody look at my legs and charge $150???

Had a great experience here. Randomly picked this place with low expectations going in (I had a really bad experience at another Lexington Park salon). I ended up with great full highlights. Reasonably priced and good atmosphere. I would recommend Kristina Kelley- she's new to this salon but clearly is an expert at what she does and is easy to talk to and personable. Very efficient and will not waste your time.

Jessie G. is a phenomenal hair stylist, and I only trust her to do my hair. She's funny, down to earth, and listens to what you want done. I've never left her chair, not loving my hair!! I recommend her 100%!!! I've never had any other services at Bella Salon, but I have friends and family that go there for threading, massages, etc, and they all have loved their services, too! The waiting/seating area could use some help as far as getting better quality chairs/couches as the ones they have sag to the floor and is hard to get up from. Call in advance for an appointment as Jessie fills up quickly.

Bethany has cut and colored my hair for a few years now and I absolutely love how she takes her time and makes sure it’s exactly what I want! I have thick, coarse, wavy hair, and her razor cutting technique is my favorite! I have moved to Virginia and have actually drove back to have her cut my hair because of how skilled she is with the razor! It took 12 minutes to schedule an appointment for a cut. Arrive at my appointment as on time to be told I was not scheduled.**Update** I recieved a phone call from Beverly who caring and polite when she explained that they had a new receptionist. I decided to go back for spray tan for an upcoming trip, which was a first for me since I tan naturally but the results were quick and amazing!

I scheduled a last minute appointment because I was in desperate need of a cut. My hair was scraggly and limp and I was hoping and praying I’d get lucky with an awesome stylist. Angel cut my hair and it’s literally perfection! She gave my hair life and even though I had limited time, she still gave me the full experience. I walked out with a beautiful cut and a bouncy blow out in 30 minutes. I’ll definitely be a regular with her while I’m a resident of SOMD!Service: Haircut

I've been a few times, the service was ok, no complaints on that front. I reached out by email/message on their website to try to schedule an appointment and the person answering the email stated they had no availability same day, not an issue really.But in the same email, they asked if they should look for other available dates. I replied back, yes please otherwise I need to make other arrangements, and then never heard back.I reached out again via email and they have not replied. I'm gonna find another place now, since they obviously are too busy if that person hasn't yet found an opening to answer back with.I don't like talking on the phone personally, so that's why I emailed, as I like things in writing.But to offer to check other availabilities and then never get back to a customer is just rude.Service: Haircut

I was very hesitant to try a new place after having a bad experience in the area. I booked with Lori and she did not disappoint. She gave me the exact blonde tone and blending I was looking for. Prices are very reasonable, I was able to get an appointment rather quickly considering the time of year.

After many hours, I left the salon feeling disappointed. Although my stylist, tried to make me happy and tried to fix it, it just wasn't what i was looking for. She recommended I should come back next week and she can fix it, but I cant afford to make another appointment. So now i'm stuck with the hair. Also I got charged for a cut, even though I only got a little bit of ends off.
