“Apple fritters. Yes. Apple fritters. The apple fritters here are amazing and taste just as awesome. I love apple fritters. I had one this morning. I popped it into the microwave, and it came out nice, gooey, warm and tender. It was sugary and sweet. I love apple fritters. It's cool. Apple fritters. Apple fritters. Apple fritters. Yummy, tasty apple fritters.”

“I have been shopping at Mom's since it first opened. I'm never disappointed. The only challenge I ever encountered was when the store was expanded and I needed to relearn the location of items. Thank you for being such a superb store!”

“I always buy wheat grass from Mom's Organic market. Some of the potential health benefits of drinking wheatgrass juice include boosting the immune system, detoxifying the body, improving digestion, reducing oxidative stress, and supporting weight loss. Wheatgrass juice is rich in vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants that can help strengthen your immune system and protect against illnesses. It is also known for its detoxifying properties, as it can help remove toxins from the body and support liver function. By improving digestion, wheatgrass juice can aid in better nutrient absorption and relieve symptoms of indigestion. Its high antioxidant content can reduce oxidative stress and inflammation in the body, which may contribute to chronic diseases. Furthermore, wheatgrass juice is low in calories and can help curb cravings, making it a good addition to a weight loss diet.”

“I don't know about "healthy", but this place has some GREAT freezer meat alternatives!! Stuff we have never seen in a grocery store and at decent prices. It seemed like most of it was Taiwanese imports.”

“We were out-of-towners visiting family during the holidays. Needed to re-up on some supplements and stopped by. Johnathan was super helpful and knowledgeable — we explained what we wanted and he was able to give us recommendations and what would suit our needs best. Will definitely restock via their online shop when needed. Thanks again!”

“As a former organic farmer who sold to organic markets throughout New York and New Jersey, I found MOM's takes the gold medal for quality, selection, excellent and knowledgeable staff, and fair prices. A staff member originally from Scotland named Carole was as courteous, professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasant person you could ask for. Great job Carol!”

“Great little store for fresh produce. While it isn't a place you can do all your shopping, it offers a very good selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Prices are fair. Some are cheaper than grocery store's.I enjoyed my visit and the watermelon I got there.”

“I freely admit, my visit to GNC was a fact finding mission to see if they were comparable, or, more so, cheaper than CVS across the street. They were! But, that's not what sold me. I'm not the kind of person who seeks help immediately upon entering a store. First, if I'm not a committed purchaser, I don't want to take a clerk away from their business. I prefer to stumble through a place figuring it out on my own then to be a nuisance to somebody if I'm not a guaranteed customer. As soon as I walked in, a young lady with very pretty eyes immediately approached me and asked if she could help. She had kind eyes (the rest of her face was hidden behind her mask) And I could see that she sincerely wanted to be of service. So, I had her guide me through the different selections of the supplements I was looking for. Surprisingly, she knew--concluded--Why I was seeking those specific supplements, and offered several options that I had not considered.I was not intending to be a customer. But, her willingness to help and her sincerity won me over. And now I guess they are stuck with a customer who will return expecting to have the same service every time. Apparently, I'm still vulnerable to a pretty face!#TodaysDiscovery”

“Celebrating a year of health-conscious choices, I've found a balance between nutritious and budget-friendly foods. While some products boast benefits, discerning labels is key. “Some of the best customer service I’ve had in years at a Whole Foods. Leah at the customer service both really wowed me and went above and beyond with her service. She also gave a great cheese recommendation!”

“Mom's organic market is more than you can imagine. Order takeout lunch or dinner at the "Naked Lunch' kitchen inside then pick up your groceries. Sip a bit of coffee (free) while they slice to order your fresh bread. A wide variety of foods and they even have last minute gift ideas--pick up an adorable wool bird house or luxury soap. Favorite snack is the Panda Licorice (fewest ingredients). They offer fresh produce, meats, dairy, dry foods, snacks and a few gifts. One stop grocery. See my review of Naked Lunch kitchen. Mom"s Organic Market has wonderful staff that make you love your community more than you already do”

“Great service- really appreciated the way I was treated with my two little ones being kids and indecisive, they were patient and gave a great service. I wish there was one close to where we live because the soft serve has clean ingredients and is delicious.”

“Whole Foods is always Whole Foods though this one is a little smaller hence less options for a lot of stuff and the parking is slightly less convenient. It’s also easy to miss the turn into the parking lot. Having that said it is also the only Whole Foods that has the mavens creamery macaron ice cream”

“Staff was very helpful and not push at all. Respected my space when I said I was just looking and throughly answered all my questions when I had them. Been here a few times now I especially like the guy with the glasses there, he is wicked smart.”

“They make THE BEST turkey burgers so I was bummed that they were out of them today, but not only did they refund my online order, they gave me an amazing double avocado toast with egg. Silky avocado with super spices. Wow! Consistently great service, great food made with care. Hidden gem.”

“This is the BEST smoothie king in all of the DMV area. I’ve been to most smoothie king locations, but this one is set apart for smoothie quality (so good), atmosphere (spotless and quiet) and customer service. Every person who works here is so kind that I drive 20 mins away just for a smoothie at this location. Go see for yourself!”

“Busy location, but the selection of hot food items/salad bar is always great. I like how it has a second floor to eat a small bite, if you want, while enjoying an open view of shoppers down below. There is also a wine/coffee bar on the second floor.”

“Walking by on a warm summer's night and decided to try this, rather than ice cream, which also is available near by. VERY glad I tried the smoothy instead. At the employee's suggestion, I tried one with strawberry, pineapple and other flavors. It was delicious. Not sure about the calories but I was walking a lot that night so hopefully I burned off at least some of them. Anyway, I strongly recommend this for a snack or dessert.”

“It has been a few years since I last visited this location. I went to redeem my birthday reward, and the cashier/brewer, Angel, was very patient with me. He even assisted me with the new app, as I was confused about why my reward hadn't popped up, despite receiving an email. He was kind and ensured everything would be alright.Thank you for your help!”

“I go here 2x a week at least. Antonella has the BEST customer service! I wish she worked more days; but everyone is nice there. You will enjoy your smoothie and the customer service.”

“Overall this is my go to place to do a little work on my laptop. Get groceries, and other necessaries. The elevator is a bit iffy from time to time and about 40% of the checkout staff are to busy chatting with each other to speak to you during check out so there is that.”

“Yes! Organic Market at Cleveland Park has been a go-to grocery place for more than a decade. Their prices are often higher (than at Giant, Whole Foods, Safeway, even the next door Streets Market), but...they carry the food brands we like, and they remained open - with a smile and friendly spirit - through many hard times (pandemic, power losses, and snow storms). They know my name, inquire about the health and well-being of family, and the whole team has earned my respect and trust.”
