Nancy has been creating commemorative plates for my family for years - first for my kids and now for my five grandkids and counting! Her designs are beautiful and she ships anywhere in the US - we've had plates shipped to Washington, Oregon and New Hampshire and they arrive in perfect condition. The plates are a great way to welcome a special new child into the world!

More than 12 years ago I was at a friends house, admiring the clay plates she had on her wall commemorating her children's births. I got the information and ordered one. Nancy will fully customize anything you ask for (I've asked for plates to match a family pet, a bridal bouquet, a wedding destination, a church, a new house, etc.). I have given these as gifts for bridal showers, weddings, new babies, anniversaries - you name it! I never buy gifts off of gift registries anymore - there's no need to!The communication from Nancy is top notch - she will work with you to create something beautiful that will surpass your highest expectations. Nancy is a pleasure to work with, I have been ordering Wedding and Baby plates from her for well over 10 years or more. Nancy creates one of a kind, treasured keepsakes to remember those special milestones in one's life. Each plate is truly an original, crafted with care and given with love. I have just as much fun giving her plates as gifts as the recipient receiving her one of a kind treasures does. I can attest the expressions over the years have been priceless !!!

I LOVE Nancy's Plates!!! My first experience was a gift to my daughter of one of her birth plates with the inscription on the back "made on a hot spring day by Nancy Bodmer". I was hooked by that personal touch. The plate itself was so sweet and I loved it so much that I started ordering plates as birth gifts for friends and family. I have been ordering plates from Nancy for 20 years and have NEVER been disappointed. Friends who have received them have been delighted. I have even ordered a few plates with special designs (a birth plate and an anniversary plate) and she did an amazing job on both. Nancy is an artist who brings love and joy to every plate she makes. I was lucky to find her all those years ago!

We have been very happy customers of Nancy ever since a chance stop at her Buckeystown store in the early 90s. It all started with one commemorative plate and has continues over the years to the present day. Every plate that we have ordered and presented to family and friends has been a great and heartfelt hit. They are in all 3 if our children's homes and in more than one home across the country. Yes, we do love them and so does everyone else who has been a recipient of her great works of love.

I have been purchasing plates from Nancy for over 25 years. I use to have a business that involved newborns and Nancy and I teamed up together to help each other market the plates to new moms. Every since then I am a regular customer of hers. I purchase these plates for new parents as a gift from my current company and any friends, family or whoever have a new baby. These plates are handmade with love and are a forever keepsake.

Nancy has made birth plates for all 8 of my grandchildren- the Christmas gift they receive at their first Christmas! All of the plates have a different picture and have been very well received by the parents. Nancy is a joy to work with. She is open to custom designs and strives to please. She has always produced the plates is a very timely manner.

We discovered Bodmer Pottery many years ago on a ride around Maryland. We initially purchased baby plates for our children and our nieces and nephews. Over the years we have returned for Wedding plates and now we have purchased a plate for our grandson.Bodmer Pottery is our go to for special gift giving.
