It's hit or miss at Family Dollar. One time they'll have eggs but no butter. Next time vice - versa. Another thing. They should change the name. Hardly anything you need is a dollar everything's $1.25. (or more) These bags of 22oz cereals are the same price as the 26oz version and tryin to make sense of the "why" is a test of your sanity. And they have uh oddball stuff like a antenna for your HDTV at $17.00! That's an awesome price and these things actually work over the air. Love this store when I have a family of dollars. Go to the Brunswick store all the time.

They having the nicest staff there I mean they are nice and pleasant helpful everytime I've been there which is 4 to 5 times a week for last two months the manager needs to take care of these employees they are the most competent staff I've experienced across the country last two years ...the manager of this store needs to keep these employees treat them good heck they deserve it you want to see horrible staff go to KFC at gettysburg couldn't eat the food after I saw n heard most horrible staff I've experienced

Very, very clean this time. The girl that rang us up was very nice and attentive too. 6839344 is her cashier # (i think). They had some good stuff on clearance too. I've occasionally been shopping here for 6 years and tonight was an improvement. Im changing my prior 3 stars...to 4...?

Admittedly Family Dollar, some could say "look it's a dollar store." That's not exactly the case, say as such as the Dollar Tree, where everything is I believe a dollar still. Okay the cards are fifty cents a piece. Yet this store in Brunswick, MD and there are others serves a purpose. They have low priced items, and actually quite often, I stop at this one if other locations of theirs for last second camping supplies. If you go camping enough, you know about forgetting stuff. In many ways it's a joke among, those of us who love the outdoors. Family Dollar always has bargain basement pricing on hot dogs, rolls, condiments, paper plates, paper towels and the like. This time I was grateful for a $5 pair of shorts, that I was able to get with a t shirt for only $3.75. I like the Brunswick location. Some of them look like a tornado went through them. To the credit of the staff here, this one is very well organized. I like this because it allows me, to get what's needed and roll back to the woods. Some of their "deals" aren't all that, but it's all about what you come in looking for. I think the employees at this one are great, and also it doesn't have back to the wall lines, that I have found at other stores. If you're in the area, and need a few basics, this is a spot you'll want to consider.
