“I was told I needed new tires on my Convertible Mini Cooper, by a tire store in Frederick, Md.
One day as I was putting the top up on my convertible, the plastic cover just fell off of and left all of the instrumentation exposed. I called my body shop to see if they could fix it, but they informed me that they could not and suggested I go next-door to Churchhill Auto Care. I called them and they made room for me immediately.
The part to replace the cover over the instrumentation panel would have cost me $700 not including the repair costs. However, there was a young man there who specialized in Mini Coopers and he repaired the plastic cover at very little cost to me.
Back to the tires, when I was there, I realize that they did multiple things. I asked Brandy if they could take a look at my tires. Immediately a young man began to look up different kinds of tires for my particular Mini Cooper. Then he went outside and took a look at the Mini Cooper tires, because I had bought the car used, but it only had 20,000 miles on it. It didn’t seem that that average 60,000 miles for tires was anywhere near being reached. Apparently, the dealer in Virginia, where I bought my car had switched the tires before they sold it to me. The thread was thin on two of the tires, but not bad at all on the other two.
Sadly, the mechanics I had been going to had put the two bad tires on the same side of the car. Although I had paid for having my tires balanced, apparently they don’t realize that the car is front wheel drive and that the good tires should always be on the front of the car.
Instead of having to buy four tires like the tire store guy had told me I needed. Churchhill told me I only needed two tires and they should both go on the front of the car.
Instead of paying nearly $1300 for all new tires at the tire store, I only paid $600 at Churchhill for two tires.
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate having an honest dealer to work with.
They are my new go to place! I highly recommend them to anyone in the Frederick area!”

“Been about two times had serviced done. Both experiences have been great with Communication and service. Area is clean, front desk in person and on phone are very good. “Very friendly staff, and they don't typically try to overcharge you on anything. For example, I requested a tire rotation however when they checked the tread depth, all 4 tires were wearing evenly, and so they told me it was unnecessary instead of just doing it anyways for the money. The only thing they tried to sell me on was an engine flush which is *not* recommended by Toyota despite that employee's claim it is (I checked the owners manual twice on this).
Otherwise they changed the oil way faster than expected, double checked the oil level after topping off, and had a viewing screen where you can watch the tech under your car do his thing. He also double checked that the drain plug bolt was in place tightly. I appreciate the double checks. That's always nice to see.
Overall probably the best place to get an oil change in Frederick. It's a bit more expensive, but it's worth the trip as they're super helpful, fast, and honest.”

“If you are in the area and need your car serviced this is the place! We were on the road from North Carolina to see my dad for his birthday when my car's alternator failed. They knew we were due to travel home and fit us in during a busy holiday week so that we wouldn't be stranded. When the part was slow to be delivered (not the shop's fault at all) they called to try and speed things up and got it done just in time. Finally, they have a friendly staff and they do honest work at this shop. You won't be taken for a ride but they will fix you ride and get you up and running. “It’s a struggle to find a decent mechanics. One that doesn’t feel like they are trying to rip you off. This place is full of honest and caring people. I never once felt I was being talked into doing more work then Needed. They gave me realistic and fairly priced work that needed done. I recommend this shop to everyone in Frederick looking for a good mechanic. They will be my mechanic of choice for life now. I was sold when my brake light went out and a man ran out to replace it. I asked him how much I owed him? He said don’t worry about it you’re good to go no charge. This is a mechanic with integrity and I appreciate that a lot.”

I went to Advanced to have my brake pads done. Again, they out did themselves with hospitality, cost and a great job. Do yourself a favor go see them, they are fair and do t do any of that sales pitch to buy what you don’t need yet. They will let you know if they see anything so you can be prepared for the future which is always a good thing for me. Five star rating in my experience.”

I've been getting oil changes, tires, brakes & all maintenance completed by their shop team for the last 22 years, and they have worked on 4 of my cars, all different makes except for my Lexus & Toyota. Even when I dated a mechanic, I still brought my vehicles to this shop! When the Turbo blew out on my AWD Eagle Talon, they rebuilt it and did an immaculate job. When the frame rusted, they gently nudged me to get a newer vehicle for my own safety. Other shops I've called in a pinch have said they are too busy to help me, which sucks when your car isn't working!
