My BZ4X has only a simple issue. To replace the 12V battery. It took them two days to fix it.
The most frustrating part is that the service advisor is not responsible enough to give updates. I tried to call her several times and even left a voicemail in the morning. Unfortunately, there is no answer. She had updated me consistently after I had reported an incident through Toyota customer service.
I would like to highlight her name here. She's Memuna. You can read on other bad comments here, and you might see bad feedback on her as well.
This is my 1st time to have a service here. My brother and my dad do not recommend this service center as well. Now, I have proven it myself.

Im not one to leave reviews but my experience here was so bad that I had to, if I could give no stars I would. Dealing with the service department here was the worst experience I have had dealing with any automotive location that I have taken any of my vehicles to. I was unfortunately assigned Memuna to help with my service appointment where they diagnosed an electrical issue which was the initial reason for my visit here. Thankfully I have a warranty on my vehicle so the visit and repairs are supposedly free of charge. I came in on a Saturday where I had to wait about 3 hours for the diagnoses which was not an issue. However once they diagnosed the issue they had to contact the warranty company to authorize the repair which I had to wait on due to them being closed on the weekend. I was told I would be contacted by Memuna sometime during the week, which I never was. I had to call back 3 days later to get an update from another worker in the service department saying they believed it was on order and would have Memuna call back with an update to confirm since she was out of work that day. She did actually call back the next day to say that the warranty company approved the repair and the part was on order and expected it to come in in 3 to 4 business days and they would give me a call once it arrived. Fast forward to 7 business days later and no one ever called to update me of anything. I called back today and I was hung up on by Memuna when asked for an update and had to call back and go through the call prompts to get a hold of someone about an update for the part I am waiting on for my vehicle. I then found out that the part was never ordered like I was told and Memuna was no where to be found. After complaining about the run around I keep getting from everyone at this place I asked to speak with a manager who was also conveniently no where to be found. I was told by the women who I complained to in the service department that my phone number was taken down and I would receive a call from a manger at some point. We will see if that ever happens. Save yourself the trouble and just find another reputable location for repairs or service to your vehicle this place was terrible, and customer service clearly isn't a priority. Lying about ordering parts for customers and blowing them off is insane.

"I had a fantastic experience with the service department at Toyota of Bowie, particularly with Antonio. Every time I visit, I receive five-star service. Recently, my vehicle required spark plug replacement, as well as front and rear brake repairs, which took a couple of days. During this time, I was provided with a rental car, which was a great convenience. When I received my vehicle back, the brakes were working perfectly, and I trust that all other identified issues were fixed as well. Thanks to Antonio's professionalism and expertise, I will continue to bring my car to Toyota of Bowie for all future service needs."

They break my windshield and then told me go for insurance claim. Crack was not there when i left my car with them. They noticed each and every small scratch on my car before taking that car to service area and mentioned it in walk around inspection paper. But according to them “they missed that very very visible crack” even though it was right next to vin number. Because that crack was also not mentioned on that walk around inspection paper. After that whole team tried their best to prove that crack was there before vehicle came for service. When i ask for video recordings of service area where they serviced my car , they said no cameras in that area.

I arrived at 8:20 AM for an 8:30 AM service appointment, I was greeted by a person who verified my name and told me to go to the waiting room, after waiting 2 hours they told me they had not done the service to my vehicle because they did not know where I was, at that moment (10:30 am) they told me that I had to wait 2 more hours, which I could not do because I had another commitment at 11 am

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at Toyota of Bowie. They told me twice they ordered a part for my car. When I called to check on the status it still has not been ordered. Think twice before going there. You have been warned. The "Service Advocate" needs to double check the meaning of an advocate. Even after speaking to the Service Manager my problem has not been resolved

I am Mrs.Chong Won Kwak & today is 1/21/2020. It has been many years ago in 2004-2005 year that I lived near this Toyota of Bowie Maryland service center and took my Toyota Sienna minivan 2004 year style that was new and their service was terrible. I waited for hours with my young children who were very young at that time. It was difficult by myself with two young sons in apartment and taking my minivan to have maintenance service and repair that they keep telling me they fixed but did not. I paid much but not any service because the customers do not see the employees/automobile technicians servicing peoples automobiles in their service garage/work areas. In own country and to good citizens and it does not matter, female or male or age because it happens to whoever they target to bully. And it is not just in this Toyota building. I am thankful to be alright and not hurt in my minivan, but these ways needs to stop. And the retaliations when speaking up is wrong because all people need others to help speak up or notify these wrong ways to us and others who get these problems, too. It is not the Toyota company, but the non oriental employees here in United States of America.
