I knew what I wanted but was expecting the parts guys to know exactly what to give me. Instead I ended up google looking up my own part numbers. Nothing hard I was looking for literally drain plugs and gaskets for my Diffs and transfer case. But 4 stars for the patience and effort they gave trying to help me figure it out . They could use a little more training on finding parts in their system.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service at Toyota of Bowie. They told me twice they ordered a part for my car. When I called to check on the status it still has not been ordered. Think twice before going there. You have been warned. The "Service Advocate" needs to double check the meaning of an advocate. Even after speaking to the Service Manager my problem has not been resolved

The service was quick, and the Teo gentleman who helped me were very professional.I went to get my transmission fluid and coolant change as I want my vehicle to last as long as possible. The prices are up their and they are not cheap.I they also fixed a recall for the tensioner on the seat belt which is exactly why I go to the dealer and not just some random car place.I would go back again.

I went to the Kia around the corner and received an appraisal for $8,400 but decided to try to get a second offer and left. When I spoke to the manager at Kia he told me if I decide to sell my car to take it to Toyota around the corner and they will still honor my price and it was in my profile. So the next day I went to Toyota and had them look up my info while I test drove one of the cars. When I was done I sat with Emanuel Agina and we discussed the car I was interested in so he gave me a printout of the car details with my trade-in value of $8,400 but overall I felt like it really wasn't the car I was looking for so I told him I would rather just sell my car instead. So he came back with a completely different number of $7,500 I asked why the appraisal number changed and he said because I won't buy one of their cars. I said it was ridiculous and I want the number they originally offered me not this bait and switch act. They brought over a manager who then brought up that something was wrong with my trunk and accused my car of being in an accident, he also said he had some random buyer on the phone and I guess trying to convince me on why they were low balling me. He then says give him some time so he can get me close to the number I was originally quoted and 15 - 20 minutes later came back with a Carmax quote I received saying he was going to honor the $7,500 because Carmax offered me $5,500. I decided that doing business with them was not worth it and left. If they had done their job correctly they should have checked the Carmax quote the first time and just honored that number, it would have at least seemed more honest than to quote me much higher and decide to change the number, that's their fault. I decided to go online and sell my car to Carvana, the process was so easy and amazing! Sunday I applied to get a quote from Carvana, and they quoted me $11,005 I was able to set up an appointment where they came out the very next day, the lady had the check in hand, and they did not change the quote once they saw my car they honored the price. I signed a few papers and handed over the keys and was done within 15 minutes! No dealership drama and sold my car while on my lunch break from the convenience of my home. I recommend everyone to sell their car to Carvana for top dollar! They just need to make sure your car is drivable and you are good to go! No bait and switch!

I have a brand new Toyota Highlander the check engine light came on so we tried calling Toyota of Bowie, asked for the service department and was told no one was at their desk, they could take a message. So we asked for a manager this lady was absolutely clueless, apparently Toyota of Bowie, doesn't have a clue what customer service entails. These people or unresponsive and truly rude and unhelpful.

I have been a loyal customer of the Toyota Bowie service department for several years, but I think it's time I find another service location. Today, I had a 7:30 appointment for an oil change and cabin filter change. I arrived at 7:00 to find six cars lined up in front of me. No biggie bc I'm the one who arrived 30 minutes early. What I did not appreciate was being overlooked by the service advisors. An advisor stopped at my car to ask who my appointment was with and when I said "any advisor" he said "ok well the car BEHIND you is my appointment so I'm going to take care of him and someone will be with you." Please note, I had been waiting 15 minutes at this point. I pull my car forward and another advisor greets me, but this time he asks for my name and if I I an appointment. I provided my name and appointment time. Now at this point, one would think the advisor would grab the appointment list, locate my name, and grab the advisor assigned to me, but no. He asked what brought me in which just irritated me bc again all of this information can be found where....the appointment sheet! He gets my info and sends me on my way.Five minutes later, a third advisor comes to me in the waiting area to recap the reason for my visit. Seriously wtf is happening?!

Fayyaz khan was great to work with. I let him know what I was looking for and he gave me a great deal on a new Venza. I checked around at other area dealers and he had the best price hands down. He didn’t waste any time going back and forth. The paperwork was all ready to sign when I arrived at the dealership and I was in and out within 45 minutes. One of the best car buying experiences I’ve had.

This review is long because that is how truly bad my experience was. It was by far the worst experience I've ever had. If I could give a negative rating I would. I have been coming to this dealership for years- never had an issue until now with a new employee JOHN GARDNER. I had an appointment at 10:30am. Dropped the car off with John, who confirmed the service shouldn't take more then a couple of hours and he would call me when it was done. While he was doing my intake, he shared that he was new to Toyota- only been there for 3 weeks and had previously worked at a Honda dealership. 3pm rolls around and I have not yet received a call. I called to inquire on the status of my car, the representative looks in the system sees my assigned advisor is John and forwards me to him. He answers and after a few minutes he acknowledges he remembers speaking with me that morning and that he was going to place me on hold to confirm where exactly my car was. During this process I end up getting disconnected. So I call back, I am again patched through to John, only this time he denies ever speaking with me. He denies ever even seeing that I had an appointment that day all before admitting that he doesn't know where my car is. Which is a problem itself. However instead of having an accountability he begins to be rude and disrespectful to me- a customer- who has just been told their car has not only been serviced but also can't be located. He then said and I quote "don't get rude with me because I'm trying to help you out". Sir, you failed to do my intake properly, failed to have my car serviced after having it in your possession for an entire day. If I had not called up to the dealership several times - my car would have never been worked on. Not only did John Gardner at Toyota of Bowie- service department disrespect a customer after he failed to do his job- after lying to me about never speaking with me he makes threatening remarks and hangs up on me. Soon after Ryan, an alleged manager of the dealership calls me back to confirm they have indeed located my car an hour before closing and they were going to have it worked on ASAP. This "Manager" had no accountability or justification for the rude and disrespectful behavior of his employee. You literally work in customer service- if you don't know how to speak to someone with an once of respect you shouldn't be in this line of work. I will never step foot in that dealership again. Ryan and John Gardner will also be reported for losing a customers vehicle then being rude, making threatening remarks, lying and then hanging up on the customer because you are not man enough to take accountability and acknowledge wrong behavior. I also find it interesting that all of a sudden they refuse to give me a customer review following my appointment- unfortunately for them that will not stop me from giving it. :) 0/10 -would NOT EVER Recommend. I have heard great customer service reviews from Toyota at Capitol Plaza which is where I'll be going from now on where the employees don't lie to customers, threaten them, oh and definitely don't lose their vehicles.

Scheduled 10K service and a Maryland State Inspection online with Toyota of Bowie for today (09/18/2021). After we arrived for our appointment, we were informed that they could not conduct the MD State Inspection, as their Certified Inspector had left for the day. 40 mile round trip wasted for nothing. They offered to reschedule - as if our time was not of any value. I told them that they have lost us as customers and that we would have our vehicle serviced and inspected at another DC area Toyota dealership. Very unprofessional and very poor customer service.

I originally purchased my Tacoma here and so I took back for first service free service. They Did not reset service light and did not mark my book even though I had put book on front seat as instructed. Had two concerns with vehicle under warranty and were never addressed even though i had indicated them in my appointment. Stopped dealing with them. Fast forward two years I thought maybe they could have got there act together. So decided to give them another shot. I put on aftermarket wheels with oem tpms sensors figured I would have Toyota program them for me. Called and service writer stated it would be $300 to program. Absolutely ridiculous I stated. I was a automotive technician for 20years and had programmed sensors before but i did not have a tool to do now. Took to a hole in the wall shop and they charged me $40 and it took 10minutes. Do not take your vehicle here!!!!
