I’ve been going to Rips for over 40yrs and the in store deli since it’s been added. The deli use to be one of the closest things in the area to a real deli. Not anymore!We went today and order the Gyro and a Reuben sandwich. They are not the same anymore. Gyro use to be messy and delicious. Today it was dry as a bone and bland. The Reuben was very light on meat and sauerkraut too.Sad but it seems like this is what every place is becoming. More for profit than quality.My personal belief is the quality is what keeps us return customers but I understand maximizing profits too.

Worst place to purchase alcohol. On two different occasions I’ve had a bad experience here. Thought I’d give it another try today after a prior visit where I witnessed 3 people have their transactions completed without being asked for identification before me, then when I was rang up the cashier proceeded to ask me for my identification. When I asked why he requested it, mind you I look well beyond the age of 21, he responded with “we card everyone”. I expressed my confusion on why he didn’t ask the 3 Caucasian customers ahead of me and he simply gave me a vague response stating that it slipped his mind. Now today, I attempted to make a purchase and when making the transaction asked if I may pay a certain amount in cash and the rest on my card. The cashier declined. I asked why, and he stated that management made it a rule. I asked to speak with management and an elder short Caucasian lady came to address the situation. Without any effort to satisfy my needs as a customer she stated that they do not perform split transactions. Again when I asked what the reasoning was for such an unusual rule, she stated that they don’t do split transactions for one item purchases. In all my years of customer service I’ve never heard of a more bogus reason to deny a customer and lose a sale. I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere for alcohol. Clearly management here sucks and the covert racism is obvious. Terrible service altogether.

I had a horrible experience with a manager on duty. My bottle fell as soon as I stepped outside. I wasn't gone a full minute right outside the store, through the paper bag, SMASH! I came in and told them I spilled it and there's glass on the floor. He looked at me like I was a wino and was like, "You are out the building you will have to buy another one." He was so dry and cold! I'm more mad at myself that I did! The cashier (guy) was awesome, very sympathetic to what just happened. I remembered this experience now because I have a function and I need a few bottles as gifts. I will NOT be getting them from here.

I'm convinced that the sandwiches made to go are 2x better than dining in. The cuban sandwich needs to go back to Cuba and learn how to act cuban because this cuban sandwich is a imposter

I’ve been eating Rips Italian subs (now veggie subs since I’ve gotten a bit healthier?) for decades now, and they are hands down the absolute best!! In my opinion what makes them so good, aside from what’s inside which is perfect, is the bread. The sub rolls are crusty, flaky, delicious, and thin. If perfection exists in a sub this is it. Bravo Rips please never stop making them!!

Great place with a great selection. They got lots of craft and local brews which I love. Staff is really polite and helpful. One of my favorite liquor stores.
