Overall, NTB really needs to get their act together. I had a slow leak in my tire, probably from a nail, so I called to see if I could drop by. They told me no appointments for the day and I’d have to schedule one. Fine, I booked an appointment for the next morning at 8:00 a.m.
I showed up on time, only to be told it’d take about an hour and a half to service my car. Seriously? For checking a tire, that should be a 20-minute job at most. Since I had no choice, I decided to kill time and grab breakfast at Bob Evans. (You’ll want to check out my review for them, by the way.)
After almost an hour at Bob Evans, I returned to find my car up on a lift with all four tires off and the hood open. When I asked what was going on, the lady at the desk said they hadn't even started yet. Keep in mind, I came in just for a suspected nail in my tire.
I waited another 15 minutes before she finally called me over to discuss my car. She recommended air filters and an oil change—nothing to do with my tires, mind you. Eventually, she showed me the nail, said they’d patched it up, and asked if I wanted to stick around for the other services. If they had just taken the expected 15-20 minutes, I would’ve had the oil change and filters done there too. But after nearly 2 hours, I had to get to work.
I spent only $25, but I would’ve spent more if their organization and management were better. The tire patching was done right, but their overall efficiency and customer service left much to be desired.

I’ve been coming to NTB for my battery and tire needs for years but this most recent experience was by far the best. Mechanic Jalin and new manager Donya were super friendly, personable, knowledgable, helpful, and went the extra mile to ensure my mother’s tire needs were satisfied. The young lady with the short blonde hair at the front desk (I didn’t get her name) was also very helpful and friendly! I’d recommend this location to anyone looking to get their car serviced.

1) They damaged my rims mounting 4 tires.
2) I was told that my 10am appointment would take less than two hours. At noon, my car was still sitting outside untouched. They had scheduled nearly 15 people for 10am. My car wasn’t finished until 4pm.
3) The manager was very unprofessional and dismissive.

I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Donna, the manager, has no business running this store. I waited five hours to have a battery changed. Her excuse was they were busy. I did not walk in; I had an appointment. The staff was kind and responsive, but they lacked leadership and direction. The service was so poor I had to walk a mile to the auto zone to buy a part. The only bright spot was Riquan. Her customer service is the only reason I did not lose my mind.

I came in for a flat repair and realized that my tires were old and suggested replacing all tires because my car is all wheel drive. Thanks for catching this before having left for vacation. NTB is the only place I bring my car.

The personnel at NTB Bowie, MD demonstrated excellent customer service at my visit today. Despite having technical difficulties, they were able to fit me in, resolve my issue, and let me know the details to make an informed decision. I was able to walk in without an appointment too. I WILL be returning for all my tire needs in the future. Thanks NTB Bowie. Your service was greatly appreciated.

I got a referral to NTB Bowie for tire replacements and alignment! The experience from the front desk staff to the technician on the floor is classic. Truly, the NTB Bowie puts the customer first.
They communicated work progress, sought my concurrence, and completed the repair work in a timely manner.
