Giant food is my go to place for groceries. Whatever I need I can usually find here. They've come a long way ever since it got competition across the street. Giant has improved their quality, quantity, customer service. The only thing they need to improve is they need to hire more cashiers because they're busier than they have ever been and just wonder if you cash fears during high volume hours is insufficient to meter customer demand.

Store is clean and most employees are nice, but the young white woman with short blond/orange hair is always rude and miserable looking. She makes annoyed faces and acts like she's doing you a favor by talking to you. She's also the only one that doesn't say anything to you as you're exiting the self checkout. If you're going to be so rude, why work customer service? I've started going to Harris Teeter across the street because of her, but still come here once a month or so because they sell the type of dog food I need.

Management very disrespectful and demeaning.
I attempted to buy a case of Essentia water which I bought multiple times and for some reason the barcode was not working and management very clearly told me I had to buy each bottle individually to have the case. I will no longer be doing any business at this establishment

First and last time coming here.
It's a shame when the store is full with many customers and a white lady decides who she wants to keep eyes on.
And NO Giant, I don't want to call your store to talk about the issue.

This is my neighborhood Giant (#310) and I normally have a pleasant experience. However, today at 5:37 pm was the exception. I frequently and consistently use the Giant App to clip my coupons along with my purchase. Today I was told upfront that my coupons might not work because of the wifi (not sure exactly what that meant). The cashier (Jacqueline) seemed very frustrated with me wanting to save money and wanting to verify if the coupons were successful. Another employee came over (maybe Ron Holmes, Store Manager on duty) to assist and also had a very unpleasant demeanor. As a returning customer and military service member this was a very less than desirable experience. I am hesitant to return to this location.

I went to Ledos to get something to eat and saw the turkey painini sandwich. I was waited on rather quickly and pleasantly. The sandwich was delicious! 😋 I also enjoyed shopping inside the store!

Can't complain. Prices have been going up but that's everywhere, not just here. The stuff I get from the bakery and produce section are typically in good shape, and the selection overall is great. It's a shame they need the anti-theft measures that they have, but again I can't blame the store for that. Giant satisfies my grocery needs quite well.
