Went today for an urgent visit because my doctor’s office recently had the doctor leave after less than one month and the Nurse Practitioner that I really liked (after meeting for 1 visit) was out today and tomorrow so the person answering phones there suggested I go to Urgent Care. I happened to see a sign near Fairwood Safeway and thought I’d try Excelsior out hoping for less crowds, less waiting and kinder staff. I hit the jackpot on all of that. I offered a suggestion to add a hook in restroom for purses/jackets and they thanked me and it’s on their list. Liz Rivas, NP, was so knowledgeable and down to earth. Now that I know they also do Primary Care, I’m strongly considering them. Just read the reviews about John’s Hopkins in Bowie and will definitely not go there. Excelsior Urgent Care had smiling welcoming staff, clean, bright facility and excellent services.

Awesome Care! My primary care at John Hopkins was booked until February 2024 when I called to make an appointment in September so I went to Excelsior. It was easy to get an appointment, quick to see me once I got there, very professional, and friendly staff.

Dr. Romeus and Liz are very thorough. I went to them for just a work physical to check the box, and left with a great primary care physician team. Both listen to your issues and provides the best course of action to address your needs. I highly recommend them if you are in the PG County area.
