Customer service is horrible.. I was left on hold and the call transferred me elsewhere.. Got transferred back and nobody would answer the phone.. The first dude that is at the desk is awful he is weird and rude.. They seem to not want to do their job.. It’s quite surprising coming from BJs but maybe I’m just new here.. disgusted
Went in person and the system was down.. Called the next day and was left on hold AGAIN..

First time buyer. Good experience overall. Great deal on Goodyear tires, and it was finished in under an hour which I thought that was amazing, since they estimated an hour and a half.. The people were friendly, and also very busy, and working hard in the hot garage. I recommend being patient, and don't be afraid to speak up, but be respectful. They work hard and deal with a lot of people, and they will treat you nicer if you show some appreciation and patience.

This place by far is where you can get the worst service. Just one of my stories dealing with them. I had an appointment and the guy that's supposed to rotate my tires called off and nobody was available to rotate my tires so I wasted a day for 2 and a half hours waiting for him. Today (Wednesday) I have a slow leak in my tire. All I want to do is get my tire plugged which takes no more than 15 minutes for somebody that has a little knowledge of changing tires and they told me they can't get me in until Tuesday next week. I will not renew my membership and I caution anyone to use their tire service. If you use it I guarantee you will say I should have listened to the review. The rating is bad as it is and anything over a 2 is hard to believe.

The worst..Just moved back to Bowie from College Park and this is when I miss having a Costco right down the street. The BJ tire center system and customer service is trash. First, I ordered tires which said should have been delivered 2-3 days. And, it took a week. No one calls you when they arrive, so I had to travel to the store twice to see if the tires were delivered because it is damn near impossible to get connected to the tire center because the machine doesn’t have them in the directory. Every time I visited the center, only once someone was at the front. The other two times the person was in the garage, and because the tires cover the glass. They can’t see if they have customers. I returned the tires, and taking my business elsewhere.

Every year my BJ's membership fee is automatically deducted from my bank and is sent by bank check to member services. This year, as with other, my payment was forwarded well in advance of the due date only to be cashed and not credited to my account. Money withdrawn from my account on 7/28 but BJ's state they can find no record even though my bank has the endorsement indicating that they cashed the check. Customer service has been unresponsive ignoring many emails and requests to return calls. Today, with the assistance of my bank, we were able to get ahold of the customer service supervisor who was of no assistance as they could not find the payment. During the major cluster, BJ's has suspended my membership and when I asked what could be done about the loss of membership use I was informed that there was nothing that can be done. When I asked for a Manager, this supervisor informed me that she was the supervisor on duty and there was no one they I could be referred to. Angie, Supervisor 09/11/2023 @ 04:20PM EDT.

We had a 9:00am appointment. It’s 9:10am and the doors are still locked. No sign of any employees, at least three other people with appointments waiting outside with us. No one answering phone, no sign of anyone.Update a man who works here just told us laughed at us when we asked what was going on and said that “we really don’t open until 9:30 or 10:00 o’clock” then shrugged like it was our fault they gave us 9am appointments.

Was hassled to join inspire energy the last time I went to this BJ's. I usually place my orders online for pick up but decided to visit the store myself this time. Absolutely regret it. Maybe it's just me but i like to shop in peace. I informed the sales man that I wasn't interested more than once and still was pulled into conversation.

If I could get a zero I would. My husband's tire had a nail in it. He previously purchased his tire from BJs. He had a 9:30AM appointment and just left out at 11:37AM. He was the only person there. The person working there clearly doesn't want to work. We went to this location because the location in Capitol Heights is trash. Well so it this one. Why does it take one person two hours to fix a nail? He tried to sell four brand new tires to my husband and spent time talking to his co-worker about what shift he was scheduled for. He even stepped outside to talk to his friend for more than five minutes. People complain about businesses shutting down in the area, but the people who work there are a part of the reason. BJs is also a part of the reason because why do you have one person working at a time? That is one reason why Capitol Heights is a terrible location to go to. The employee waited until there were additional customers to then use the excuse to say he was the only person there so it will take longer. These additional people came in at least 25mins AFTER my husband was there. This is so unacceptable.

I have previously purchased tires there before, but if you don't have your paper for issues later, you are out of luck. They will send you to member services because they don't have an online system. Most recently, I purchased tires on 9/25/22. My initial gut feeling was to go with Costco, but I decided to give them another try because in the past the service has been horrible. As of today, I have not received my tires. I called that week to find out where the tires were and all I was told was to wait. I finally got a hold of the manager who said he was looking into it and he would call me back in 2 hours. That 2 hours has turned into weeks. At this point I have purchased my tires with Costco and don't want anything to do with BJ tires. Things still have not improved.

The service at the tire center here was repeatedly bad enough that I canceled my BJ's membership after failing to resolve issues through BJ's chain of management. Three years and I haven't gone back.

This place is trash and what's even sadder is that BJ's knows this place is trash by the reviews but it's not doing anything about it I will not be renewing my membership switching to Costco
