Not a fan of businesses that don’t adhere to the closing times posted . 5/24/24 memorial weekend and they chose to lock their doors minuets before their posted closing time of 8pm. Knowing exactly what I needed, I rushed to this location and was relieved that I made it to The door at 7:56pm. “OPEN” sign on and vibrant at the window. Only to pull on the door and meet it locked . I looked down at my phone to make sure I wasn’t going crazy. By then it was In fact just hitting 7: 57 . I knock on the glass door where a security guard sat and asked if they were closed ( thinking maybe I pulled the wrong door? Maybe ). He confirmed that they were closed. Myself and other potential patrons ended up walking away bewildered because it wasnt Even 8 as we walked back to our respective vehicles. This isn’t a small “mom n pop” style business, it’s huge. Isn’t right to cut corners on hours. Time is money and by the looks of the amount of people who get turned away today alone… that lost business for this place. Unprofessional practice to close b4 posted time. Change your closing time to 7:45pm that way everyone is in the same plane of understanding.

DO NOT SHOP HERE: This location continues to discriminate and have false advertisement. Many black women have expressed to me what they have experienced and that they continue to close early. I arrived at 8:22 p.m. the website as well as the sign says 8:30 pm. The workers said they close at 8:20 that is FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. I went to Beauty Supply in Lanaham there sign and website says the closing time and they informed me that they do not lock the doors until then. Please do not spend your money at Beauty 4 You in Bowie (at this location near Staples).They are asking for a LAWSUIT, look at the other reviews.

High prices...as in double the price. I only got hair color, but it's usually $6. In this store it was $12.99. The other Beauty 4U locations have reasonable prices. Also, the management/owner is very disrespectful to the young black women employees. Never again, spending my money here.

Clean and well organized. The prices are competitive, and the cashier is very pleasant.

Walking to the store after leaving the gym at 7:46pm and proceed to go in and a young black male says they closed and he not letting me in. I asked don’t yall close at 8? He proceeds to play on his phone and ignore me. DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION! If you’re going to close at 730p or damn it…even 745p…put it on your sign. Absolutely unprofessional and GHETTO as hell! Honestly hope this location closes down. Never had a good experience here.

Went there today 12/16/2023 and purchase a u part wig, something quick I can throw on. Got home to style it only to find out that the lady switched the wigs. This is NOT the wig I tried on in the store. She told me it was the last one and gave me a "discount".The wig I have is extremely thin and too big for my head. She definitely switched wigs and I didn't check or follow her to the front because I was looking at other stuff.Absolutely ridiculous! That will be the last time. I will not purchase from there.

Very LAZY staff. I called to inquire if they sold DUDLEY. Instead of checking and confirming, I was told, "Uh, yeah, we should definitely have it". Now, guaranteed had I drove over to purchase, it wouldn't be there. And just that quick, my gas and time are WASTED, cause YOU'RE LAZY. ..but want my $$$

When I first walled into this store the small black lady at the front register looked Straight in my face and did not greet me. I should've turned around and walked out but I was curious to see the wig collection. I stood for about 10-15 minutes before I had to go looking for someone to assist me. The older Asian woman says I can try the wigs on at the back and never came back to further assist. Then a black woman came to provide some limited assistance with 1 wig and then teetered off to the side. I was in the store for 25 minutes before I found out there was a wig sale, so now that made me want to get a pricier wig. Once again I'm looking and nobody's helping for a while until this young Asian girl came and actually did her job, helped a customer. I'm a little picky but I should be when getting $250+ wigs. I didn't get her name but I believe she had pink in her hair and glasses but I truly appreciate her customer service skills. Even at the checkout the woman at the front was rude and here I am spending $355 in this store. I don't live in this area and I will never patronize this store again. It's hard to believe this store's such low quality service considering the area it is located. At least I'm happy with my wigs, if you don't care about customer service then this is the store for you ?

Please don't frequent this awful place! Customer service sucks, and God forbid you want to make a return... horrible return policy. I have spent hundreds of dollars over the years in this place, and when I tried to make a $4.99 return, I was refused. Never will I shop here again. I will definitely look for an African American shop that caters to all of my needs. In the future, I will only support Black owned hair care businesses. I suggest you do the same. Why are we making others rich who don't care a thing about us!!! They just want our money!
