I definitely do not appreciate how “Maria” who was assigned to do my Instacart shopping ignored my requests and chats that I sent her while still shopping my order. No communication whatsoever and there’s no direct phone number to this store. It’s bad enough Aldi Corp has removed its DEI initiatives. I ALWAYS choose replacements for my items. It takes two seconds to check for the replacement let alone reach out to the PAYING customer. These third party sites and or companies let alone lack accountability AND basic customer service.

I've only visited this chain 2 times. There's not a lot to choose from. The veggies and fruits are ok. However, there are other items that have no additives added. That's why I visited the store. I would go back. Right now, I'm taking baby steps.

The product offering is wide and the checkout service is very good. I do not recommend eating sandwiches or salads.

The cashier today provided poor customer service to me and my mother. He wouldn't speak and when we spoke he was slick at the mouth. This black man was laughing out loud at customers. My mother and I both agreed this was the worst Aldi shopping experience in Bowie, MD we ever faced. We normally love Aldi but his lack of customer service forced us to decide we will never return or recommend others to return.

We love this location, but we need to see improvement on the instacart produce selection. We've been disappointed by the shoppers' selection which means Aldi needs to do better with timeliness on their produce so customer's don't get spoiled or rotting produce.

The cashiers could use some customer service training.
When it was my turn to check out, my cashier failed to greet and instead aggressively motioned for me to bring my cart towards him by pointing repeatedly. When my cart was placed, he literally tossed each of my groceries into the cart. As I watched him do so, he looked at me as if he was waiting for me to address him about his service.
I didn't want to make a scene in front of my young child, but needless to say, I will not be returning.
Never had such a poor experience at Aldi let alone any grocery store. Aldi, this location is giving you a bad name.

If it was possible to give less than a stare I would. I’ve been going to this Aldi for over 4 years. In that time the great managers that used to work here have been replaced with bottom barrel. The managers currently running this store are rude, impatient, and disrespectful. Both are proud to work for Aldi - yet uphold none of the core values. I dealt with the manager Maria (at least that’s what she said her name was) last night and let me tell you - God bless you if you get stuck letting her make decisions - because you’ll be up a creek without a paddle. Aldi needs to look into the management structure of this store and the impact the lack of social and customer service skills these managers have affects the customers experience and engagement when shopping. I personally won’t be shopping this store anymore - if you want an incredible experience go up the street to the Crofton MD Aldi. Their managers are incredible.

I want to be able to review higher but the lines are ridiculous, frequently with full carts lined from the checkout to the back of the store. If business is so good why not hire more cashiers?
2024 update: line is still long and even fewer cashiers. On the positive side they have the best friendly farms low fat greek VANILLA yogurt that also is low sugar. Unfortunately they are usually out of VANILLA when I intend to purchase it. Please stock more! In fact go ahead and get rid of the PLAIN because people only buy it when vanilla is out.
