I have been living in the area for many years, and delivering parcels, and I find the entire office staff to be excellent people. They are always very friendly and serve with great kindness and education. 100% recommended service.

I had a wonderful experience at the Bladensburg, MD post office. My children and I were there for passports. The postal employee who assisted us was friendly, patient and very knowledgeable. We were pleasantly greeted when we first walked in, asked what we needed and then she explained the process and even looked over the forms we provided for accuracy. As she assisted us, the other employee greeted customer after customer by name and they all left with smiles. I have never been in a post office that was truly a pleasure to visit.I have already recommended this location to others.

I gave 5 stars because every time I come here they are so nice and friendly, I have social anxiety. So I’m happy that they are nice and patient. Thank you so much for your hard work .

They were so amazing! Fast and super nice! We applied for a passport and worked with Ms. Tanisha- she took the photo and walked us through the whole process. We will be using them for sure in the future!

Great post office and even greater clerks. They have walkin passports from 9-10 Monday thru Friday. You can walkin get your passport, photo and copies made. In and out in less than 15 minutes.

I went there for passport application. I was overthinking the process but Tinesia, hope the spelling is correct, made it good and easy. She was really helpful and patient with my lack of knowledge. Thanks a lot!

The staff at this location is extremely rude. I had an appointment for passport today at January 7, 2023 and the lady at the front desk refused service to me. The staff memeber is a tall female about 6 feet tall dark brown skin town with locs. When I walked in she was sitting down with her cell phone in her face. You would think that another staff member would assist me but they just starred around and starred at me. The staff who refused service wouldn’t give me her name nor the manager name or number and with her arms folded she told me no. The tone in her voice was loud and aggressive. As a community worker your primary role is to service the members in your community in a exceptional manner. Unfortunately, she refused to do and displayed a total lack of professionalism and nonchalantness. She displayed behavior as if she has done this before and has experienced no consequences or repercussions. That lady displayed horrible customer service to me today!!!! Highly upset if I had a choice I wouldn’t leave any stars. This post office isn’t even deserving of the one star

Let’s start by saying if i had the choice of not leaving any stars i wouldn’t. I visited the post office 1/7/2023 as i walked in the post office the employee was sitting down with her cellphone in her hand engaged in her phone i stood there she then got up i walked to the counter after she was at the counter and said I’m here for a passport appointment she asked what time was my appointment i said 11:45 to 12 which was just a few minutes after 11:45 she then repeated 11:45 sarcastic, and said nothing else almost as if she were playing with my intelligence so i said does that mean i have to make another appointment her coworker shook her head yes and she was helping someone else as the worker helping me delayed saying yes. I walked out the post office came back a few minutes later the same young lady (dark skin about 6 feet with dreads) looked at me without asking how can she help me i went to the counter and said i have a question if all I’m doing is turning in papers to you and i arrived a few minutes after 11:45 why can’t i turn the papers in she stood there with her arms folded with a lack of professionalism, having no interest to be flexible around me arriving a few minutes after 11:45 she told me it was a process and if I’m not there at the appointment time the appointment is closed out. I spoke to this women as i would normally speak she told me don’t base her i then asked for her managers number she paused and told me NO she will be there on Monday i can come back i asked for her name she said NO i will find out when i come see her manager on Monday i said ok she said see you Monday as i walked out the door she continue to says things she told me she wasn’t afraid of me; giving no reason for her to be afraid this is very unprofessional and something needs to be done about this. When selecting the appointment it said 11:45 to 12 which from my knowledge is a window so me arriving a few minutes after 11:45 i should have still be able to get the service i came there for. It was being lazy and this location closed at 12 so I’m sure thats why she refused to help me.

visited this post office on 1/7 /2023 for a passport appointment. Customer service was horrible. The young lady was being very rude and condescending. The young lady with dreads was being very inflexible in regards to a passport appointment. I asked to speak with a manger and she denied me the opportunity. Just very rude . I will be calling the complaint line as well on Monday because something needs to be done about this.

Not usually busy, so there is one bright spot. This little unit used to ve a hidden gem but over the last 8 - 10 or so years (of my own over 30 here), the quality degraded. Dedicated, knowledgeable employees have been replaced with LIFER types (look it up) that revel in priggish, pedantic behavior. Likely FSS flushouts, heh heh.Try a different unit or, better yet, use FedEx or UPS for even better service at a better price. A recent USPS "express" mailer cost me $26 and took TWO days (which used to get you a refund for slow service, but not anymore!). Two weeks later my identical mailing cost $11 at UPS and, while not even guaranteed to do so, arrived the very next day.I have not been back to USPS since, except to buy stamps. Har Har, kidding, imagine if anyone still bought stamps except for Christmas; oh, too funny!Has anyone told these folks about the internet? It is painfully obvious leadership is trying to destroy USPS for privatization purposes. I expect sack of "junk mail" Dejoy is slavering over the chaos he is causing, the sicko. That the rank-and-file are happily, almost lustfully participating is pathetic.Shop stewards, rally your people and fight back, you used to be known as a feared union and not a waste of space. Regain your honor by improving and modernizing but mostly by fighting the funding requirement!!! Make Congress require their own plan be funded the same way, as goose sauce is fine for ganders!

The Postmaster and the staff are always knowledgeable and helpful. It's a small office, yet their effectiveness and customer service are huge.
