The male guy at the register, I assume the owner is extremely rude and has poor communication skills, no smile no warm greeting . First time going there as they are close to my job. Not a good first impression. Service means a lot to me. Will not be going to them again.Service: Dry cleaning

I work in the area, and this was the first time I used this cleaner, and will definitely use again. It’s a family owned business, service was friendly, easy and quick turnaround. I was very pleased with the quality of work, I had shirts cleaned and pressed, alterations and repairs on other garments. DO NOT GO HERE!I just went to this dry cleaners for the first time and will NEVER go back! I had 10 dresses including one that was beaded along with a scarf and came out with a $310 bill!!! IN WHAT UNIVERSE is that ok??? When I went back to pick up my items, they told me they added ANOTHER $30 because they hadn't counted my dresses properly and there was one more so now my bill was $340! I asked to see a price list (see attached photos) because I could not comprehend that crazy price for 13 pieces. A dress is $15.95 on their price list but they told me they charged me extra because my dresses were long. I said that made no sense! These are standard maxi dresses, not gowns!! After doing the math, they charged me almost $30 PER DRESS! Completely unacceptable. I have not even looked at my clothes to see if they even did a good job because I am so irritated.Service: Dry cleaning

Took my comforter here that had a huge stain on it. They were able to remove it completely, and some stains on my other clothes that I forgot to point out to them. Love their service, plus they're extremely friendly - a real mom and pop shop vibe. Highly recommend!

Woodmont cleaners was decent, but I will not longer use them. The owners are very rude. They lost one of my dress shirts and would not admit to losing it, I asked them to look around their facility in case it was misplaced and they would not even consider that-- they said it was impossible that they had my lost shirt (despite the fact that I had a pair of collar stays remaining for the missing shirt after putting all the others back in the shirts that were returned). They also would not attempt to re-clean a pair of pants that still had a mark on them. They claimed they tried and would not try a second time. I have never had such poor customer service from a cleaners. AVOID!

This was my first and last time using Woodmont Cleaners. I went to them because the cleaners I used for 20 years (Baks on Norfolk Avenue) moved to Silver Spring. I thought I'd try Woodmont because they are in a convenient location on Cordell. The cleaning they did was adequate, not great/not bad. BUT, they ruined my favorite pair of gloves. They are wool, with cute bows at the wrist of each glove. When I brought them in, the owner even commented on how pretty they were, never noting that they would require special care. When I picked up my cleaning, the bows were gone. I went back to Woodmont Cleaners, and they said they would look for them. My next visit included a lecture from the other owner about how the bows were glued on, making cleaning difficult. He tried to blame the gloves! I told him that the gloves had been cleaned before, and the bows never came off. He offered to create new bows, which I declined. They did give me $30 reimbursement. But my gloves are ruined. My advice is to go to Woodmont Cleaners if you have basic, easy cleaning to be done. But don't bring your clothes there if there's anything out of the very basic ordinary to be cleaned. Also, Baks picks up and delivers now. So I'll go back to using them for all my cleaning and alterations.
