Cute lil shop being renamed to THE BACKYARD BIRD FEEDER. Guy that runs the store is super friendly, knowledgeable, and enthusiastic about all things birds.Lots of books, wind chimes, food, and feeders to pick from. I walked out with a few books for bird watching in the Pacific Northwest ?️ ? ? ?

The customer service is outstanding and it's kept me coming back for more than a year now. The staff have extensive knowledge on on birding, and are enthusiastic about birding in general - feeders, houses, habitat etc. I would definitely recommend this for beginners and experienced bird watchers alike. Even if I just had a question about something, they always had an answer, and if they didn't, they gave me great sources and places that helped me find my answers.

Love this small but well stocked shop! All of the employees are both knowledgeable and helpful, which is particularly useful for a new bird watcher like me! They are happy to educate you on birdhouse types, bird feeders, bird seeds/suets, wind chimes, et al. You don't need much money to really enjoy the variety of birds and woodpeckers here in the DC metro area that you can attract with your purchases from the Wild Bird Center on Sangamore Rd in Bethesda!

Very friendly, knowledgeable staff! It is always a nice experience when stopping by to pick things up for the bird feeders. The store sends out perks and coupons which helps with costs and keeps us coming back more frequently.

Nice, helpful people. During this pandemic, they made it easy for me to order by phone and then I drove up an hour later and they put it in the back of my car. Good service, good products, good advice and nice people. 5 stars and many thanks!
