WARNING!
Your belongings are not safe here , every car on parking garage 1 was broken into , and management did not have any security protocols to prevent theft or even able to apprehend the suspect .
Waking up in the morning to your car Rand sacked AT YOUR “HOME” and your work belongings stolen is not a fun sight.
Not to mention the elevators being broken 75% of the time , being condemned by Montgomery county, and blatant ADA violations.
As a resident I had to absorb the 400$ loss on my stolen goods , if this is a concern of yours I would not rent here!

I would like to thank Leon with maintenance as he has been most helpful throughout my entire stay at Westwood! He would go over and beyond to help me with any issues I was having with my apt and when I first moved in with all my furniture! I am very appreciative for all that you do at Westwood!
I also would like to thank Earl with maintenance. He was very helpful with a furniture move I had to make spontaneously! He was already helping someone else and stopped what he was doing to assist me and my movers. We appreciate you!
I would like to thank all the front desk staff and Ricardo as well for their hard work and dedication to Westwood. You guys have made my stay pleasant despite the issues that occurred.

The maintenance service is very good, Lion is always very attentive and tries to immediately resolve the fault, in less than 24 hours they gave me a response. Ok ?

The technician's response was almost immediate in dealing with the inoperable disposal unit - which he again opined was caused by excess food. But my particular disposal caution and the apparent absence of any real significant garbage accumulation suggests to me that in the future, replacement of the disposal unit may be the real answer (?).

Maintenance Manager Leon is great and always willing to help. It seems that the building is outdated and inundated with hardware problems at times, so he is overwhelmed. I hope the property owner can invest in renovating this building at such a prime location. Front desk Steve is awesome!

Great building with wonderful atmosphere, privacy, and staffing. Move-in was very easy because there’s a freight elevator you can use. Most seamless move I’ve done.

While our apartment itself is nice, the elevators often malfunction and we have had nothing but issues with our water. They shut it off a few weeks ago for maintenance and it was down for two days with no updates about when it would be fixed. When it was turned back on, the water has been extremely temperamental and I was almost scalded one night after turning the water up slightly.
My final straw was coming home last night and having no hot water AT ALL. I timed it for fifteen minutes and it never warmed. I called the front desk and the receptionist put in a work order however my husband and I are sort of over this place.
After everything that happened in January with the electricity, heat, elevators, and fire alarms apparently not having been in order for months… we are looking else where. We chose this complex because my husband is in the army and works near by as do I… but again… we’re over it at this point. There shouldn’t be so many issues and we have never lived in a place where there was.
Please please please make the necessary improvements. There are elderly and newborns living in this building and honestly, if the conditions are unacceptable right now, I don’t even want to know what is to come.

STOP PAYING RENT. All tenants have all rights to leave this complex, without penalty. Tenants should create their own union, and refuse to pay rent, until big changes are made. Bethesda? More like Adelphi! This building is unsafe. Carpreit and the HOC should be sued, if not fined. Too many illegal practices that the management, and owners are aware of, but for some reason continue to ignore. This apartment building is haunted, and I’m glad I left when I did. Reap what you sow!
