This store offered a variety of fresh plants & herbs upon entering the store. I saw poinsettias, lilies, lavenders & Christmas themed succulents, potted plants & herbs. The obeisance of the store was so enviting as I proceeded throughout the store walking by prepared foods & fresh produces. The team members restocked shelves & assisted patrons with requests. I bagged some lemons, 1 dozen extra large white eggs & some shredded triple & mozzarella cheeses as I headed to checkout. The team member greeted & assisted me as he processed my purchase. I was leaving but stopped to get 2 bananas & went back to the same team member to make payment. I truly enjoyed my shopping experience & will be returning to this store again.

This is one of my favorite Trader Joe's due to the amazingly friendly staff. I always walk out of there with a smile. Try the pumpkin cream cookies.

I think the staff and variety, cleanliness is great. However, for the past two months, consistently I have had salad that has gone bad by the time I get home.I don't return because I dont have the time and never keep receipts. I've mentioned it to the geocery staff, and one of them pointed out a few straight from the delivery box that had issues with spoilage.I just don't buy their salads anymore. Which is sad, because they're delicious .Apart from that, I enjoy the products, convenience, and variety. Staff is kind and the linea go fast. You can also go there after getting your nails done next door ? ?

Fontina cheese 6.99/lb. It is almost impossible to find anywhere, not to mention for this price. Also port salut cheese 11.99/lb. This is HALF the price of every other store. Water crackers 1.99. They are usually like $3 or $4 depending on whether house brand or not. 4 pk ciabatta rolls $1.99. 50c EACH. Thiese are 1990s prices. You can't get everything at Trader Joes and you never know what you might find, but if you're in the neighborhood definitely stop by. The store is small enough to get in and out quickly, there is plenty of staff to help you find stuff (they aren't all at the cash registers), and they have some unique items. 90% is trader joe's brand. No alcohol in MD stores, but lots of interesting frozen food and corporate must have a serious sweet tooth. There is a disproportionate amount of candy, cookies, pies, frozen desserts, etc. So if dessert is your thing have at it but it's easty to go overboard. Do not go to Trader Joes (any location) for pet food. Pet food is NOT their wheelhouse. Also almost NO non-food items such as housewares, cleaning supplies, health and beauty, etc. They have limited space and want to max out the edible things. They have mastered the art of staying in their lane. This one is on the J2 bus line as opposed to the other (older) Wisconsin Ave location, so easier to get to without a car.

This is our local Trader Joe’s. It is bright and spacious, the prices are very competitive, and staff are very friendly and helpful. My two gripes are that they are frequently out of stock of staple items - today they were missing 4 of the 10 items on my list (spinach, blueberries, ground turkey and hot sauce). The other is the produce is high quality but spoils pretty quickly compared to other stores. It’s a great store to do most of your shopping, but just be aware you may have to top off at other stores

What can I say? The employees are beyond friendly and helpful, the store is bright and has everything regular TJ stores carry, and the prices are reasonable for the quality of the items. Produce is always fresh as well. Plus, they offer samples by the veggie section. I love coming here for groceries.

This location is great and more spacious than the one on Bradley & Wisconsin. Be mindful the 2 level parking garage below is small and fills up quick. it’s easy to get stuck behind other cars stalking shoppers returning to their cars in hopes of grabbing their spot. Next time I’ll stay above ground

Great store, great accessibility, wonderful staff, all the benefits of TJs, at the beginning the parking was just right, but the last 3 times I visited the parking lot was full of cheaters going to lunch in Bethesda or—worse—trying to get free parking instead of paying the apartment building monthly fee. I’m going back today. If it’s fixed I’ll let you know. Come on people. DBTA

I love Trader Joes, but I always have issues with the produce at the 2 Bethesda locations. There have been bugs in my vegetables, weird moldy fruit, and overall rotting problems. Not sure what is up.

Out of the Trader Joe’s in the area it has the easiest parking. The store is clean and always well stocked. Most of the staff is friendly

Nice new TJ in Bethesda, closer to the Medical Center side of the town, which is nice as it alleviates the congestion at the one closer to Friendship Heights. Same great TJ stuff as any other location.

This location felt like a hidden gem! It wasn't crowded at all, especially compared to the other locations nearby. The staff were extremely nice and went out of their way to delight us. They found a specific salad dressing that was not on the shelf, gave us free candy for our daughter's birthday, and, I kid you not, 170+ stickers! Like we were VIPs- maybe due to the local competition with so many TJs nearby. We may actually drive 5 extra minutes to go to this location in the future (vs. North Bethesda) for the lower crowds and superior service.

Their triple-washed salads always have bugs in them.
