Rock Creek Mansion was our chosen wedding venue, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The booking and planning process with Julie was smooth and her positivity and communication from day one made everything easy.
The venue is a gorgeous space and was upgraded after we booked it to include candle light fixtures and a classy overall look that exceeded our expectations since we had already loved it before. Our ceremony was held outdoors on the spacious lawn, and for the reception guests could spend time on the patio, in the private bar (which has a fireplace!) or in the main ballroom where they danced the evening away.
The house manager Mike was graciously accommodating throughout the day from our setup throughout the entire event. The bartenders supplied by the mansion were fun and made our signature drink perfectly. Our day was so special, and we’re happy we made the right choice in booking this venue. We highly recommend Rock Creek Mansion to anyone hosting a wedding or any other special event. Thank you to the staff!!

This is such a beautiful space. Newly renovated too! So the past pictures don’t do it justice. The bar area and spacious back yard are my personal favorites!
All of this pales in comparison to the hard work and positive energy that Julie and her team bring to any event.

This is a great venue for some events but not others. I went to a dance there last night. They had three great bands, good and drinks. All goodHowever, they totally screwed up the table and sitting arrangements. Too many tables resulting in an insufficient dance floor. This was a dance that did not have enough room to dance!!When I talked to some workers about it they said there was nothing they could do. When I asked them who I could send an email to for the future they said it would not do any good!!! Does not sound like a very good or responsive management.For a dance, they needed fewer tables, smaller tables (large ones waste space), and more chairs. This will double your dance space and make for a much better experience.The devil is in the details and with this event, as awesome as the bands were, it should have been much better. The devil won.

The Rock Creek Mansion was the perfect venue to hold a celebration of life event for my husband. It's light and airy and felt intimate...perfect for sharing memories and stories. Because it was a gorgeous May day we were able to also enjoy the patio and lovely grounds. Julie Carter and the other members of the Mansion staff are wonderful! I relied on Julie's knowledge and experience and it paid off. I've gotten many compliments from family and friends about the Mansion and the friendly and accommodating staff, who flawlessly executed my plans. The sound system is excellent and we played selections from my husband's Spotify playlist, so he also had a "voice" at his memorial service. Julie, her team and the Rock Creek Mansion are stellar!

Excellent event location. Exceptional service from coordinating the event to the execution was flawless. The services provided go above and beyond! Many thanks to Julie and all their staff for in making my Dads Celebration of Life spectacular. It was everything he would have wanted and MORE!!!

As a videographer I have worked there covering events mostly receptions. Near my house so very convenient and plenty of parking.
