I enjoyed shopping at this store and found the perfect gifts for a variety of occasions. The staff was very welcoming and helpful, especially Dana. They carry many of my favorite products including Swedish soap, Inis handcream and Homesick candles. I am now following them on Instagram and they will ship out of state.

Dog parents, let me save you some time. You can’t bring your pup inside. There a sign on their storefront that says “We love dogs” so if you’re driving by it looks like you can bring them inside. However, upon closer inspection, in very small writing, it says “but no dogs are allowed in the store”. They also have a water bowl for dogs outside to add to the confusion.

A wonderful gift shop to browse! They have a very nice selection of baby and young children’s clothing, books, and toys. Perfect for baby shower or birthday party shopping. They also have a ton of of adult gift items, including kitchen accessories, glass and dish ware, cookbooks, local themed items, mugs, candles and soaps, bags, etc.

Staff insisted on keeping my one item I intended on buying up front while I continued to quickly browse the store (even though my hands were not full and I had no problem holding the item)- soon after, the patrons and I heard a large crash of something breaking. It was not until I waited 5+ minutes in line to pay for my item that I was told that unfortunately it was broken. That was the last of that item in the store as well, which is beyond frustrating. All I was told was "sorry" and was offered no consolation whatsoever. I will not be returning here based on flippant customer service.

We got the cutest cape cod kitchen towel. Staff was friendly and had a great assortment of stuff. Will come back again!

Such a cute store with so many unique and thoughtful gifts! I got my mom some birthday gifts here and they were so welcoming even though the new store front wasn't fully open yet. Definitely will go back!

I LOVE this shop - great selection of carefully curated, quality items and helpful staff. Gift wrapping (Blue House bag with tissue paper and curled ribbon) is festive and complimentary. One of my favorite spots to shop for hostess gifts.

The Blue House is AMAZING! We needed a Bethesda-themed gift for a friend that moved to Florida and was homesick. Connie is a beautiful spirit and helped us find the cutest gifts. We will definitely return to this beautiful and eclectic shop for all our gift needs.

Just moved to Bethesda a few months ago and stumbled in here the other day. It reminds me of a boutique you'd find down the shore. I was so impressed with their selection, and contrary to the outdated reviews, the ladies were SO nice to myself and my neighbor. It was a welcome dose of warmth here :)
