The rudest employees I've everhad an encounter with. Every single time I go in there nobody says hi to me, or helps and they give me a rude look like they want me to get the hell out of there. and when I do ask for help, they talk to me like I'm stupid.

Tried to buy a Gift Certificate for my niece, but those available are electronic and are sent directly to the recipient's email. Not at all classy. So no way to purchase a nice certificate to give on the holiday. They suggested I go to the store in MD to pick up. Great since we are in the NYC area ! Super way to lose $500.00 in business.

Buyer Beware! MD law requires retailers to post their return policy on "the wall, on the merchandise or the receipt." South Moon Under is breaking this law. They changed the return policy to 14 days. They have new sales associates. I was NOT told about this new policy. Nor any return policy. I was denied a return, tags, and all. There is no customer consideration here and no appreciation for your business. You can get all the same labels in other stores AND be appreciated with accommodating return policies.

If I could give this store zero I would. The manager Shannon is unprofessional and keeps hiring staff and assistant managers who do not have much common sense or experience with having employment or leadership skills. When you complain about the staff ruining your purchase and stealing your store credit receipts, Shannon will ignore it. The place has horrible reviews for a reason. I went back in there after having horrible experiences with mail ordering from them via a manager in the store a couple years ago. They are totally incompetent and lack customer service. Shannon is a lousy leader. The store location by the beach in Delaware is phenomenal with great reviews. Too bad Bethesda, and Annapolis stores are a joke. If you go there, check your bag, receipts, and trust them with nothing. They mess up, make errors, with everything - always in their favor, never in the customers favor. They suck.

Love this store which always has cute casual clothes and accessories--I am a particular fan of their comfy and cute socks (styles which I have not been able to find elsewhere). Although the target age range for the chain is towards the younger crowd it is refreshing to see all ages shopping here...and the staff is consistently friendly and helpful...

Came all the way here for the store to be closed. Online it says 7 but the store had been closed since 6. I can’t help yo think that the workers closed early because they wanted to!

I have always loved this store! I visited this particular location and the supposed manager "Scout" was rude and unprofessional. She had 2 masks on and humiliated my mother in front of the entire store by asking her to wait outside because she had a face shield on. My mother has a doctors note and offered but the manager continued to yell in front of everyone. It was my mothers birthday and it was very upsetting. We had been in the store over 25 minutes before the manager appeared very nervous and fired up and started to make a scene. Ms. Wright was helping my mother and I and she was very nice. She checked me out and was very apologetic for the way in which it was handled. Ms. Wright should be the manager! I could tell select employees had little to no respect for the manager. Very awkward situation. A manager comes with great responsibility and professionalism no matter what industry or situation. No doubt COVID has divided and brought out the true colors of some. Don't forget, there are people in the world with existing medical issues that make it unsafe to breathe in a mask. Do not judge!

I’ve always loved shopping at this store. It’s one of the only small boutique stores in MD with trendy brands. It seems like a safe place to shop too during covid. Parking is easy too. Cute styles. Recommended:)

The first time I walked into South Moon Under, I felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. I walked in and wasn’t greeted by anyone, or asked if I need help or anything. As i’m looking at some shirts a white lady walks in and two workers greet her and ask if there anything they can help her find. This was very upsetting to me, everyone deserves the same amount of respect regardless of color. I decided to give them another try and went in again and they were unresponsive once again. I really hate talking about race but all of the females working were white and they did the same thing they did last time. I had to get my mom a birthday gift a few weeks ago and was in the area so I decided to go in, I was greeted and helped by this very sweet worker. I don’t know her name but she was very helpful, I felt welcomed for once. It was just odd to me that the first time I was greeted by a worker at the store it was by someone of color. Please fix this problem and check your workers. It makes people not want to return.

I love this store! The staff are so helpful and friendly, and they have the cutest clothes. I tried on a white sweater that was so pretty, and wanted to try on everything in the store! The quality of their clothes are so good and will last for a long time. It is 100% worth the price! They also have the cutest little slip on shoes, which look good with very outfit. Their gold jewelry is also so pretty and is the perfect accessory. I can't get enough of this store!! Stop by next time you are in the area. #southmoonunder

I love this store. Beautiful clothes, awesome staff and warm/friendly customers!! In fact I am so addicted to shopping there that I need professional help!!! Kidding you not .You can find anything your heart desires, a trendy cocktail dress to casual pair of shorts/t-shirts. Highly recommend it.
