I have been working with Danny and team at River Road Auto for a few years now and am continually impressed with their helpfulness, quickness, and integrity. They do great work, offer valuable and honest repair advice, conduct the work at a fair price, and are very quick. They come highly recommended!

Waited patiently for 10 minutes to wait for the cashier , to then be given attitude about getting a simple state inspection , he said it was a 2 week wait and that I will wait forever , sounded like he hated his life. I left immediately wont be using that pump anymore either.

They no longer perform routine oil changes...that is, unless you agree to drop your car off in the morning and leave it there all day, with a vague promise of, "We'll get to it before the end of the day." They also won't let you set an appointment, stating "We tried that before and it doesn't work." lol what ?

Danny and his team are exceptional. They are transparent, use excellent parts/materials and provide a great price for the quality workmanship. Highly recommend without hesitation. If I don't have time to work on my own car, I bring it to Danny and his team and have never questioned the decision. Easy five star for one of the best auto shops around.

I took my car to River Road after another mechanic failed my state inspection saying I needed new brakes. That same mechanic (AMPM Auto in Bethesda) quoted me $1300 to repair the brakes. The GM dealer was $900, and River Road gave me an est. of $700 so I took it there. Danny at R.R. called me and said there was nothing wrong with my brakes and that he couldn't in good conscience charge me for a brake job I didn't need. I'll be back to RR in the future! Great honest mechanic! I brought my car here after another mechanic (AMPM Auto in Bethesda) failed my state inspection citing bad front brakes. AMPM quoted me $1300 to repair which I thought was high. So I called the GM dealer which quoted me $900, and River Road was $750 so I took it there. Shortly thereafter Danny at River Road called me and said there was nothing wrong with my brakes, and that he could not in good conscience replace them and charge me for them, when it was not necessary. I highly recommend Danny and River Road for honest service, and I will be back!
