High end thrift store in Bethesda where you can sell stuff to get store credit.
Very clean and spacious with good layout.

Folks of darker hue are not given the same nice treatment as other folks. The staff know who they are nice to. Staff give better price to non dark hue, as well as better prices for items when they sell .

Would have loved to come into this store as it seems like a great place to shop. However, the strong smell of sewage stopped me in my tracks, I couldn’t manage to even make my way into the entry way before feeling sick. I would suggest getting this fixed to boost customer satisfaction. Very gross!

Nice employees but so expensive, nice clothes though

Coming from an avid thrifter at places like goodwill or SA I felt this place to be far overpriced for many items that I could've found at goodwill for $7. That being said, and given the area of the store, the prices make sense for the audience and the store was clean.

Don’t try to sell anything here. It’s just waste of time!

I had to laugh at some of these 1 & 2 * reviews and now understand why the standards have changed. It has shifted to appease those who do not understand there is a difference between designer and brand. I am of a darker hue and older. I have been a thrifter and a consignment shopper for almost 50 years and Reddz is one of my go tos. For your FYI consignment is for high end pieces. I myself do not consignment shop to see other's low standard clothing that I would not pay for new. The staff is always accommodating, and you could be getting back what you are giving, if you want conversation find your friends. Please stop bringing your subpar clothing that you or no one wants, I am tired of looking at it and wondering why it is there taking up space and wasting my time sifting though items that ahould be at The Goodwill.

Hit or miss. The items are also quite expensive for the quality.

I have sold clothes at Reddz Trading before without incident which led me to book another appt to sell Fall clothing. I had asked SPECIFICALLY if they take mens work clothes. I had a lot of recently dry cleaned designer suits and button down shirts on hangers. I parked in the alley next to the store to unload the heavy load of suits. The sales woman at the counter saw me coming in with these suits and shirts because it took me 2 trips to get everything in the store. After I got everything out of the car I drove across the street to park legally. By the time I got back to the store she had reviewed everything I brought in. She told me they don't take mens suits "unless it's Chanel". Huh? You stood there and watched me struggle to bring in 2 trips worth of mens clothing. Why didn't she stop me and tell me that before? Not to mention I was told men's clothes were accept and these were designer suits. Also..if I had a Chanel suit to sell..I certainly wouldn't sell it there! I'm disappointed by the customer service and condescending attitude of the woman behind the counter. I will now send everything to The Real Real though I preferred supporting a local business. Too bad. You've lost a customer.

I’ve been in this store multiple times over the years and I don’t think there has been a single time that an employee has stopped and greeted me.

Okay, I've been coming to Reddz for at least 5 years. Reading the other reviews is very interesting. It's a consignment shop and like all consignment shops, the selections will be hit or miss, especially with sizes. They depend on what is brought in. However, some of my very favorite dresses ever, came from here and I've scored some amazing items like a gorgeous jean paul gaultier dress and cute helmut lang dress, a beautiful kate spade coat and a bunch of other high end timeless pieces. And there are times when the selections are not great and I leave with nothing. As far as the sales staff, I will say it has changed slightly. Years ago, the staff was extremely friendly and professional and always politely asked if you wanted to start a dressing room and hung your clothes for you. It was a lovely boutique experience. For some reason, that has stopped happening and yes, you are now barely acknowledged when you walk in, some people or ridiculously snooty and dismissive and some are kind but busy chatting until they happen to notice you standing there with a question...this, unfortunately, seems to be the norm in many places these days. Sad truth. It's a consignment shop...not much more to say about that. For pricing, it ranges between fair and overpriced for some items and then there are times you can get a great deal in the sale section. As a seller, I think it depends on the taste of the person who is looking over your clothes. The pricing is not bad, actually, and you can choose store credit or cash for a little less in value. The one complaint I do have though is that the store is very dusty and with that comes webs and spiders. This alone, keeps me from coming more often. If Reddz would just take the time to sweep and vacuum every night before closing or in the morning before opening, it would be a much much better experience. An odor absorber or two would also be nice and help with that used clothes smell when you get home. Overall, Reddz is a nice shop and many of their sellers are people from Bethesda who bring in some pretty good high end items. Always worth a look!

Consignment store, so much higher prices than thrifting. Clothes are on relatively higher end retail but slightly outdated

Nice staff, good stuff in there but that store needs to be cleaned. I got out of there full of dust and allery
