Great place to try out hot yoga as a beginner! The instructors are helpful and patient, the sessions are well-paced and challenging but rewarding, and the amenities are top-notch.

I’m 2 classes away from 60 classes at PureFire and every class gives me great joys ? Today I’m lucky enough to be the only student and that means a private class with Jenny Verdery. It’s THE BEST TIME ?♀️I got to try crowd. Almost there. Inversion. Core needs more work. Hand stand. Hands need more work. Wheel up with straight arms. YES? So much fun. I’m so grateful for this experience ?

Pure Fire is a joy and a balm. They support you physically, mentally, soulfully. I always leave class with a new perspective and peace of mind (I do mean peace.) after my move to DC, joining this community was one of the best choices I made. Thank you Marcus and team!

As a complete newcomer to yoga, I stepped into the studio with nerves and uncertainty, but those quickly resolved. What struck me immediately was the diverse mix of individuals, representing all shapes, sizes, and skill levels. It's a place where everyone feels welcome, from the beginner like me to the seemingly most advanced people I could imagine.
The teachers here are exceptional, kind and accommodating. They offer alternatives tailored to beginners like myself, ensuring everyone feels included and supported throughout the practice.
Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned practitioner, Purefire Yoga is a place where you can feed your mind and body. I can't recommend it highly enough!

Been with this studio for a long while now and I love it. It is clean, very friendly, and great instructors. It is so out of my way to go (30 minutes drive one way) but it's worth it for me. Why change something that is great for me. I definitely recommend it to others. I brought in a few friends and they also love it. Everyone is great there especially Marcus (if you want a bit fast pace) or Tracy (more chill, but doesn't mean easier ?)

Yes, to this place. It is clean, the air is fresh, the classes are good, they use infrared heat for their classes. The only thing I miss are mirrors...there are no mirrors in the rooms. Other than that, it is great.

Simply the perfect yoga studio. The classes (mostly yoga but with a few others) are somehow both welcoming and challenging for all levels. Every single instructor is excellent—I particularly appreciate that instructors walk around during the class offering targeted cues, support, and corrections to help yogis improve breathing and form and prevent injury. The high quality of the classes alone makes it awesome, but in addition to that, the studio is beautiful and clean with great amenities (showers!), and there is a tight-knit, warm community of regulars. Plus, there are always fun and interesting pop-ups and workshops that reinforce the sense of community. This place is the best!

I love PureFire Yoga so much. It has basically ruined other yoga studios for me because it is that fantastic. PureFire has a real community - the teachers are all great (special shout out to Jenny) and give off really nice genuine vibes. The studio has created a wonderful community of friendly people - I feel like I meet someone new most times I go. The studio space is not only incredibly clean (this is huge for me), it is really beautiful. The studio floor is soft and the windows let in really nice light. It's a tranquil place and you can really relax.

As a longtime power yoga practitioner, this is one of my favorite yoga studios in the DC metro area. Heated Baptiste Power Yoga — classic. (This is what they call their “Power 2.0” offering.) They also have updated versions of 26/2 (Bikram) and others.

After years of other fitness activities I finally started yoga. A lot of research led me to PureFire and I couldn't be happier. The vibe there is positive, inclusive, and welcoming. I've taken classes with Nicole and Marcus and am so impressed... and hooked. Great fun, great workout, great experience.
