Progressive Radiology in Bethesda, MD saved me today. Recently injured my arm, and needed an MRI quickly due to the severity of the injury. Contacted many MRI location near my home, and was given dates in mid to end of July. Contacted Progressive Radiology in Bethesda, MD., and they gave me a date of Monday, June 27th. But, they added me to the cancellation list for just in case purposes. That worked out for me, and the same day I was contacted with an appointment for the very next day. I was delighted by this fast appointment time, and the ability to get my services done SO quickly. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who gathered my new patient forms. The lobby was clean, and the building facilities were immaculate. After a few minutes waiting, I was called to the back by the MRI technician, named Jamie. Jamie was courteous, professional and friendly. Asked any questions or concerns I may had and if I was claustrophobic. I told him no, and we got started on the MRI procedure. Within 20 minutes of starting I was done, and had a CD rom in hand to give to my doctor for my follow up appointment. Thanks again for Jamie and Trish for helping me this morning with my MRI, you’re ability to take care of my when I needed it this most was amazing. Anyone looking for an MRI, please check out Progressive Radiology in Bethesda, MD.

I usually go to a different radiology group, but went here because my orthopedist preferred this one. It is 10'days later and neither my orthopedist nor my general practitioner have received my MRI. I have been in pain for two months. Nore has the promised one shown up in my mailbox. I have called them three times and they said they would fax it and three days ago said my copy had been mailed. I will never come to this group again. If this MRI were a matter of life and death...I'd be dead. Instead it is a matter of surgery or not. And the doctor needs the results!I'd rename this place regressive radiology....

I was very pleased with my experience at Progressive Radiology Bethesda! I was able to make an appointment online within the same week and the staff (front desk and the radiology techs) were all very kind and helpful. They were right on schedule with my appointment and it only took a few minutes to get the CD of my scans afterwards.

I went to my appointment this morning. They would not perform the MRI as I have a very small wire in my toe. The issue is that everyone else will do so the MRI as most use the "MAVRIC" protocol that allows them to safely do the MRI. (The details are way above me.). Why does Progressive choose not to use this protocol? It cost me a morning and delayed my diagnosis and treatment. Not happy.

Really nice facility, the front desk and techs are helpful and have great energy. I was nervous and the care here is good. Only thing to look out for is the office is in the basement. If you’re looking for a wide bore scanner this is the place

This review is for service dated 07/28/21. I sincerely hope they've improved since my last visit. My issue comes from the report and analysis. The office was fine and there were no billing or insurance issues and prior authorization process was as expected.I came in with complaints of chronic pelvic pain and even told the tech my OBGYN suspected endometriosis and that I would be having surgery shortly. Deep infiltrating endometriosis is easy to spot on MRI with proper training. My lesions in particular were in locations highly expected of the disease. I was shocked and disappointed when the report came up with nothing but a simple cyst. I'm very lucky I had a fantastic surgeon. He said there was an extensive amount of it. Unfortunately, it looks like I may need to have another surgery. I can't help but wonder if he would have been able to extract more lesions with an accurate MRI report.I know a year has passed, but I will NOT be taking my chances on this place again.

Very user-friendly experience from the online appointment request (in which you can attach your doctor’s order digitally), to filling out forms online in advance, to a swift check-in. Just make sure you arrive a little early to orient around the medical office plaza and to find this little suite in the basement of the Camalier Building. You have to go down to LL (lower level) and take a right when you get off the elevator.Echoing the other reviews on how bright, clean, modern and aesthetically pleasing this office is! Owner clearly thought of all the details. Staff were all kind and competent, everything was on schedule, and efficient. I also appreciate that this office is open late enough to accommodate those who can’t take time off work for their radiology appointments. My second experience at Progressive Radiology and I’ll definitely continue to select this practice for any MRIs or CT scans I need in the future.

The entire facility was bright and clean. The receptionists were very pleasant and competent. The radiologist called for me on schedule and brought me to a changing room, where i exchanged my street clothes for a disposable gown and was given a key to lock away my things in a locker. The MRI took about 20 minutes, as I was told. I waited about 5 minutes for my MRI movie, and the receptionists waved goodbye to me. Nice touch.

I am so glad That I came here. They fit me in for a same-day brain MRI and an MRI of my shoulder. I discovered Progressive Radiology because I had an appointment next door at Community Radiology. Community wanted $220 in advance and because I left my wallet at home and they refused to let me call my card in afterward or go home and get it and bring it back. I live 5 minutes away. Sadly I had to leave CR without the MRI. But it was a blessing for me. I saw Progressive Radiology two doors down and walked in. The staff is so friendly and professional. The office is beautiful and calm. They offer free bottled water and beautiful TV and a serene setting. In addition, they bought Washington Radiology recently. Good for them!! You won't regret coming here.

My tech, Renex, was awesome. He explained everything thoroughly and even was kind relating to my silly questions. I enjoyed his professionalism as well as sense of humor. We got along famously. Thanks for the kindness.

This is an update, because it is fundamentally important to me to be fair. Progressive Radiology's front office staff were attentive. The technician was outstanding. I am not a physician or medical worker. Nothing herein said should be construed as medical or legal advice. The orthopedist who referred me to Progressive was Dr. Keeling. He is outstanding. I needed an MRI of my ankle. There was metal in other parts of my body. I had always been told not to get an MRI because it would rip the metal out of me. Dr. Keeling worked with Progressive and other healthcare providers to figure out exactly where the metal in my body was and to make sure that it was safe for me to get an MRI of just my ankle, not putting my entire body in the machine. The day of the test I was frightened. The technician worked to make me very comfortable. Progressive's billing issues were another matter entirely. Dr. Keeling worked to get a prior authorization from my Managed Care Organization. We had to put off the MRI because of that. The Prior Authorization had the last part of my member ID. Progressive also had my insurance card. The insurance was denied for several reasons. Progressive kept appealing with the wrong member ID. By the time we found out what happened the deadline in the provider agreement Progressive had with my Managed Care Organization expired. Progressive sent me a bill for over $1,500. I had to fight tooth and nail to get Progressive to write off the bill. I had to fight tooth and nail for an email from their C.E.O. admitting that the written off bill was the fault of progressive. I am still trying to get a signed letter that says the billing error does not affect adversely on my financial responsibility or character in case I need to swear under oath that I have no written off bills if I want to apply for law school or after graduating take the Bar Exam and go through a Character Committee. Those committees which must review a candidate after he or she passes the bar take unpaid bills very seriously. Progressive's billing person was awful.
