Kenwood's Canine Clubhouse
5429 Butler Rd, BethesdaBrought my dog for boarding and daycare while going to a family wedding out of state. What a great facility . The place is very clean ( no unpleasant odors). and the staff is very friendly. The online registration makes the check in process quick and easy. It's nice to be able to see her play by accessing the webcam. I definitely recommend this for boarding or just on daily play day

Dogtopia of Bethesda
4936 Fairmont Ave, BethesdaI like that the canine coaches are very attentive to the dogs and immediately deal with any aggressive play or behavior. Staff also keeps the rooms clean and cleans up any messes right after they happen. I also enjoy that they have special days and activities for the dogs and will do cute photos for a 5$ fee. Wendell's prom and Olympic photos are the best and they are proudly displayed on my fridge and in my office :) Most importantly, my dog loves it, has been going since he was a puppy, and has made several friends with other regulars :)

Oliva's Kitchen Mexican Fusion
4708 Highland Ave, BethesdaThe only thing I don't like is the location because you have to pay to park, but I guess that's normal for the area since I'm not from around here. But this is my second visit because wow, the food is good! I'll come back if I'm in the area.

Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana
7101 Democracy Blvd, BethesdaConnecticut style pizza beats NYC pizza everytime for me and having frank Pepe’s in the DMV, does just that. The meatball & ricotta pie is my go to and slaps everytime.
Update: I had to come back and give it the extra star it deserves. This pizza is just way too good to not talk about over and over again. This time I got the Doppio as well. Incredible. Absolutely incredible. Its simplicity at its finest. And the service?? Top tier. Our server Laura is one of the best servers we’ve ever had. Give her the raise she deserves! Thanks again!

Barrel & Crow
4867 Cordell Ave, BethesdaWhile we didn't have a rezzy, Barrel and Crow was able to sit our party of 6 fairly easily on a Sunday evening. I went for their apple tequila cocktail (I forget the name), but it was so good that I got TWO. Duck fat fries were good-- I just mixed the mayo and ketchup together. I did not order my own main, but did have a taste of the children's chicken tenders and the steak-- I prefer the steak. The chicken tenders were a little dry. Altogether though, cute vibe. Family friendly. Solid drinks!

Donburi Dojo
7820 Norfolk Ave, BethesdaI thought my brief experience at Kusshi was pretty decent. I stopped by for a quick lunch, and everything met my expectations. In general, I thought the prices were fine relative to the area, and the service was pretty on point. My salmon bento box was very delicious, and my food came out pretty quickly. While I probably would not travel more than 30 minutes to dine here, it is a great spot to drop by if you have a sushi craving while in downtown (I think) Bethesda.

Cabin John Regional Dog Park
BethesdaGreat resource for the area. Plenty of shade amongst the trees. There's a water fountain and a few dog bowls so no need to bring water. Good amount of benches and seating around the park. Poop bags generally well stocked.
