Training Ground is well-equipped for a variety of fitness goals and client types. Their fitness equipment and training space is well-maintained and clean. Their personalized fitness plans are dynamic and thoughtful, and trainers explain how each exercise helps your body, while also correcting form and offering encouragement. My own trainer, Josue, and every other trainer I observed were motivating and kind, and they always brought positive energy to the space. I would highly recommend TG for a beginner wanting to learn how to workout, and for an advanced client with specific fitness goals!

I have 2 fabulous trainers - Hillary on Monday is amazing! Her knowledge and ability to improve my strength while being mindful of keeping me safe. Alice is a terrific trainer on Fridays. My endurance and stamina have improved greatly under her guidance! I am incredibly grateful to both women and the supportive environment at Training Ground

My wife and I have been training with Teddy for over 6 months now. When we moved from San Diego, we cycled through a few trainers utisde Training Ground before finally landing with Teddy! He’s incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to his craft and creates a sustainable long term program. His breadth of knowledge and experience ables him to address the unique challenges for both me (build muscle) and my wife (get lean). He has also been able to help my wife with pre-natal workouts. Outside of the quality of training, he makes our training sessions fun and light that makes us look forward to it! Highly recommend Teddy!!

I started training here a month ago and I can confidently say it is the best training I have received. The facility is amazing and my trainer, Teddy, is exceptionally knowledgable and puts together curated workouts for each of our sessions to progressively and safely work towards my goals. I highly recommend Training Ground to anyone who is trying to get leaner, healthier, or stronger.

Training Ground is a great gym. My trainer (Kat) is the best. She mixes up the routine every session. Andy the owner has the best customer service. I am very happy I found this place.

My daughter and I started training together with Teddy a few months ago and it has been a great experience. Teddy is able to customize a workout that meets both of us at our current fitness levels and make it enjoyable. I highly recommend Training Ground.

Training Ground is a great place to work out! They have dozens of kettlebells, several bars and benches, ropes, TRX systems.....but it all comes down to the excellent trainers the have. I had the pleasure to get trained by three different guys and everyone was highly skilled, experienced, friendly and demanding. Teddy is for sure the best, but I guess other clients will say the same about their trainer :)The only thing I am missing at this place is a shower.All good things never come together, I guessI can definitely recommend Training Ground!

I trained with Vesi for several months and cannot recommend her enough! She's super friendly and knowledgeable and I've seen great results from training with her. The facility in general is clean, well-equipped, and never too crowded. I really love Training Ground and if I wasn't moving, would continue going there!

Training Ground is a great place for anyone looking to work with a great personal trainer. They do a great job pairing you with one of their many trainers based on your goals and personality. The person they paired me with (Teddy) was a perfect match for me. And since it is a facility just for trainers and their clients, it’s never crowded and you don’t have to deal with annoying gym people who are discourteous or rude. All the trainers who work there put stuff away, wipe things down, share the space, etc. I did a lot of research before selecting a trainer, and I have no regrets going with Training Ground. Highly recommend.

I’ve really enjoyed working at Training Ground. They are invested in helping you reach your fitness goals, whatever they may be, and the atmosphere in the gym is always positive. I’ve been very happy with my trainer, Alice, who is very supportive and encouraging. She’s unfailingly positive - which is a big help on those days you’re just not in the mood to work out - listens to feedback, and is creative with the workouts. She’s also always ready to modify exercises as needed. It’s been a pleasure working with her at Training Ground.

We've had a really good experience at Training Ground. My teenage daughters and I have trained with Alice and really enjoy it. Nice low-pressure atmosphere and convenient location. Another parking space would be nice though.

I love working out at TG Bethesda, especially with trainer Alice! It’s a great alternative to a typical gym (not my thing), and having someone there to guide us and tailor workouts to my personal fitness goals is such an effective use of time! I’ve become so much stronger and well-rounded as a dancer thanks to cross-training with Alice, and the value for partner training and getting to work out at Training Ground’s well-stocked and maintained facility is something I look forward to every week! I can’t recommend Alice as a trainer enough, either: she is patient, positive, and thoughtful, and has made working out fun *and* effective!

My partner and I have been training with Hillary for several years, and have seen significant improvements to our strength, flexibility and overall health. Hillary does a great job of ensuring each workout is challenging and varied. She is a phenomenal trainer, and I would highly recommend her and Training Ground to anyone looking to improve their health and fitness.
