“My favorite location to shop for wine and beer in Bethesda. They have a great selection of both and the staff have always been very helpful whenever I have questions or ask for a recommendation.Alcohol prices are pretty expensive all over the Bethesda area but I’ve always found them very competitive at Lance’s which makes it a great choice as well.”

“Great spot with some really nice and popular high end wines. The beer selection is also fantastic, Nipika the owner carries lots of high end brews including Other Half.”

“They have everything from cleaners to sushi. I live in the area and this is it when it comes to walking somewhere. Luckily it is terrific. The sandwiches are big and priced around $9 at the time of writing which is more than fair. The Ruben is a Ruben, thick with melted cheese, yum. My kids buy candy and chips here every day. Tons of ice cream, water, soups, dental stuff, just a vast selection of things. It is convenience store prices but a step above given the restaurant and other homemade offerings like muffins. I'm guessing most people dont know about it who don't live in the huge building it is located in.”

“This one is a small but good enough wine and beer store. They have many wines from all the famous places of wine producing countries. Infact there's so many existing wine brands that it's very difficult to display all at one place. But this store has chosen a few good ones from every where. There's a small variety of beer as well.”

“I think I just found my favorite sandwich shop! Ordered a Bret’s turkey reuben with smoked turkey and kraut, perfect ratio of everything, and great portion size, most of all: wonderful taste with very reasonable price. Definitely going back to try the other sandwiches (a great variety to select from btw!).Parking: Plenty of free parking spots right in front of the store, super friendly/convenient for drivers”

“Large amounts of liquor and mixes. Was happy to find this place because i don't enjoy wine or beer and this area has a lot of beer and wine shops hard to make piña colada with bud light.”

“I have been coming to this store for a couple of years and i can definitely see how the store has always been changing. They have large quantities of quality wines and beer. For example a couple of days ago i noticed that they had changed the shelf behind the counter and made a new one with multiple different champagnes like Dom Perrion and other high quality stuff. Also i was able to deliver stuff to me rather then going in store which is more convenient. You can find the web site on the google store where it says website.”

“This is a great place and the owner is very nice. He is though being harassed frequently and the police didn’t care when I told them. I said this guy who is verbally abusive and physically explosive could hurt someone and the cop said” he could” almost like he was giving permission. I’m disgusted! Please call the police if you see the this man assaulting the employees. I will begin to record these events when and if I am there. I cannot patron with such violence going on.”

“I read that the owner could be unfriendly, but, in my experience, that couldn’t be farther from the truth! We stopped in, and I asked him why he only sells beer and wine (no liquor). He gave a quick history lesson of liquor laws in the area, and then we were on our way - as we were leaving, he said “nice talking with you!” Friendly guy, and I do plan on returning”

“I love a market that sells overpriced canned beverages and snacks. This sounds sarcastic, but I couldn’t be more sincere. I come to Foxtrot specifically for Bawi (pineapple or passion fruit flavor), Barbet and Torres (black truffle) chips. Foxtrot is the only retailer that I can find these brands at.Coffee bar: Coffee is SO much better than Starbucks. All the traditional coffee shop beverages are very good. Specialty beverages- I had high hopes for the tiramisu latte it was nothing revolutionary, but haven’t tried any other specialty drinkBreakfast tacos are excellent for the cost and ease. Be sure to ask for the salsas!”

“I have written several other reviews of this store which I thought could update each other but that doesn't seem to work, so basically any review with my name is a continuation of the same review. This store has a large display of local products, originating from anywhere Harris Teeter operates, so MD, DC, VA, NC, PA. There is no sign indicating that the display is for local items, because they are very different, but it soon becomes clear that it is the only thing they have in common. So lots of sauces, spices, chips, spreads, soup, etc. Great way to support local businesses. Perishable local products are scattered between the freezers and refrigerators. But Harris Teeter has a strong focus on supporting local businesses and it isn't just empty promises.”
