Be sure to ask for Biv for financing. He knows how to get you the best financing for your car.

As a general rule, I like getting my car serviced at this location. It has a clean and spacious waiting room with good wifi connection, and they get the job done efficiently. That said they have two TERRIBLE employees at the service desks, and if you get either, your experience will likely be deplorable. ALIM RAZI and CHRISTOPHER MWEPU are rude, unfriendly and seemingly maybe sexist. I would avoid them at all cost.

"YOU'RE KILLING ME!" These are the words I had to say over the phone with the salesperson to stop the sales pressure! On a Tuesday, around noon, I called to see if a particular advertised vehicle was available -- it was. I said I'll take it and promptly gave them my credit card for a $500 non-refundable deposit. Then incredible pressure from the salesperson began for me to come in to complete the transaction the very next day. I tried working on my schedule to do this but conveyed to the salesperson that it would be very difficult to be there the next day, Wednesday (also I was approximately 150 miles away from the dealership)...but said I could make it on Thursday. This was not acceptable as the salesperson continued (from phone calls and texts) the pressure, pressure, and more pressure for me to get there the next day, Wednesday. Once I had enough of the pressure campaign, I called him and said, "YOU'RE KILLING ME with all this pressure. I don't understand all the pressure! Stop with the pressure!" He gave reasons -- high demand car, we need to get it off the lot, etc. This made no sense. He also insisted that I would need to complete a credit application despite my telling him I was not financing the vehicle and I'll make full payment by whatever means he wished to receive the payment. He said the credit application is still required -- dealership requires it, and then when on to mention "since 9/11..." I said requiring a credit application makes no sense in this particular transaction. Painfully, we agreed I would bring my checkbook with me on Friday (his day off was Thursday) and finish sorting through the details at the dealership (such as extended warranties and other services, etc.). Once I got there, he was nice but the credit application came up again. I refused to complete the credit application. He brought the "finance guy" over who initially said that I wouldn't be able to take the car home that day because my payment in any form would take days to process. I said that is fine, I can come back another time to pick it up. He then changed to say, indeed, I could run over to the nearby bank and obtain a cashier's check (I had initially offered to bring a certified check) and that I wouldn't have to complete the credit application and I could take the car home this same day. Additionally, as I was completing the remaining paperwork, I saw that the dealership has a military/veteran's discount to be applied to their $500 processing fee. I am a veteran (as also confirmed on my driver's license). I was told I did not qualify because I wasn't currently active duty nor had I left the military within the last two years -- so just adding to some disappointment on top of the aggravation. In between the points of aggravation and once "total nonsense" was muscled through, the three people I interfaced with were nice to me. In my view, the points of aggravation were totally unnecessary. If the car had existed elsewhere, I would not have purchased the vehicle from this dealer.

I recently had my car serviced at Jim Coleman Toyota in Bethesda. Like many people I think, I had not taken my car to a dealer for servicing for quite some time. Instead, I used a smaller private mechanic for services like oil changes and the little things that came up, but had not done much in the way of regular maintenance other than that.Earlier this summer we were going to take the car for a long road trip, and I decided to take my car in for an oil change and a check up to be sure it was safe for a long trip. My service representative, Mark Waters did an excellent job. He explained to me what he felt needed to be done. Essentially it was a 60K mile service, All the fluids were checked and replaced, a new drive belt, checked my tires, new wiper blades, and a number of other regular maintenance things. The car drove great on the trip. The trip included many miles on the highway in the pouring rain. I felt comfortable and safe knowing my car had recently been serviced. Upon my return the air conditioning went out. Mark had the mechanic Kevin Parry inspect it and determined I needed a new compressor. They were able to have the car back for me the next morning. Kevin even fixed a few minor body work adjustments on my front fender and on my driver's seat electrical controls at no charge. Both times I used them, when I picked up my car it was delight to find that it had also been washed for me. I will certainly continue to use Jim Coleman and won't hesitate to recommend them to others. Five Stars!

Bad sales here, avoid at all costs. Total bait & switch. I called this company today to see if a car was available. The rep told me the color, make, and model I was interested in was available for me to check out. I immediately hopped in the car and drove 40 minutes to check it out, only to learn that the car was actually sold and not available at all. Do not waste your time - they aren't aware of their own inventory. That's 3 hours of my life Im not getting back.In addition, the rep who was driving us around searching for the "missing" sold car, inappropriately bragged to us about how he upsold a car $500 over asking price. Wow, openly delighting in ripping people off. Seriously, do not waste your time!

Don't buy car here and bring your car for service here! They are not a trustworthy dealer! When I buy my car here, I brought my car insurance and check, they told me I need to wait because they have to keep the car for test drive!? I was out of rage because they didn't keep their words and didn't let me know in advance. Finally they gave me the car. A few months later, my tire was flat so I needed to change a tire. I brought my car their service, they told me the tire was covered by insurance. Then when I brought my car there, they told me I needed to pay and it's not covered. He (Andy) made a mistake but he didn't want to admit that he told me wrong information. He tried to blame me for misunderstanding him!!! That's not acceptable! Jim Coleman is NOT a good, honest, and trustworthy dealer! Go to somewhere else!

CARLOS provided unprofessional and childish service to me, i was quoted over the phone $180, $52, $52 for rear brake pads and sensors. When i went to pick it up, the lines quoted increased to, $224, $61, $61, PLUS a $20 over night freight charge for a part the service advisor ordered on my behalf that I requested not to have done, new rotors on a 30k mile supra is unnecessary? Once disputing the freight charge, and when removed, they provided the inflated quote which differed from the one stated over the phone. I asked for a 20 dollar discount, and CARLOS could not help. He told me to go to darcars, Darcars provided the following quote where i purchased these pieces for: $200, $51, $51, per line. CARLOS fought over 20 bucks, now Jim Coleman is BLACKLISTED on supra forums. Goodluck selling that pallet of 0-20 oil now. Bad management skills, how could this guy be customer facing. Retired car business at koons.

Parts department appears to be on a power trip. Will not process order for a part without VIN. They charge way more if you buy in person. I know how to spend my money. I'll buy whatever parts I want. They don't need your VIN. Don't give up PII for their convenience. I'll apparently buy parts elsewhere.

These guys are great. I deal with Tony, Christian, Dionte and Anthony multiple times a week. They are very knowledgeable, punctual, and have great attention to detail. The prices are very fair as well, even though there isn’t much they can do as pricing come from the corporate level. Just wish I could order all my parts from them. 10/10 service and buying experience

We use them often for parts. They are very smart and know what they are doing. Dionte, Anthony, Christian and Tony always get me taken care of. These guys definitely run a good operation over there, I would order all parts from them if I could.
