I went here with my wife to drop off her car for service. I needed to use her car for a long distance drive and wanted to make sure it was serviced before I left. I stood at the counter and was surprised by the service associates flippant attitude. We walked away disappointed with the treatment but figured everyone has a bad day. When I called in later that day for an update the associate was more pleasant and helpful. We did the services that the manufacturer recommended but declined the add ons.
When we got the car home I noticed that a windshield wiper was missing. It had been recommended for replacement but IMO really did not need to be done at that time. Apparently it was taken off and never replaced. I had good experiences with Jim Coleman in years past and recommended she call and speak with the service advisor. She didn’t get a response to her call so she sent a text. The advisor replied in text and apologized for the issue saying she would look into it and would call back to correct the situation. She never got a return call and we had to address the situation immediately as I was going out of town.
I then encouraged her to call the Service manager. She called twice over 3 days and left messages both times but never got a response. The third time, I called from her phone and it went to VM, I hung up and immediately called back only to have the service manager pick up, say nothing and hang up. I figured the final attempt would be a call to the GM. Those 2 calls were never returned! To this day they have NEVER responded to her numerous messages and NEVER replied to the review she left here.
Back to solving the issue, rain was in the forecast for later that night and the wiper arm would rub metal against the windshield so we had to drive and find a store open late that was about 20 min away from home. At that time it had started to rain and until we made it to the AutoZone, we went to another store prior but they were out of the correct replacement.
The whole ordeal was incredibly disappointing and time consuming for us. The $20 for the wiper which I installed in the rain and the hour spent driving back and forth late in the evening to get the wiper was frustrating. We recognize that people make mistakes and have bad days BUT it’s been 3 months and NOTHING, no response at all!!! It cost us time and money because of an error Jim Coleman made and they have not to this day even addressed it. You can find my wife’s review here and notice it is the only review that is not addressed from Jim Coleman. The car was purchased here and every service since was done at the dealership. Her previous reviews were positive so we have no idea why we have been ignored?
As a side note our “Brady Bunch” family has 9 cars and 11 drivers. I just purchased a brand new car for one of my sons which could have come from Jim Coleman but instead I decided to drive 30 minutes out of Bethesda to purchase the car from a different dealership because of this issue.

Update: I noticed Jim Coleman responded to every review except mine. This is another example of this establishment not taking accountability for wrong doing and treating customers poorly. Such a disappointment.

I bought my Nissan armada here 3 years ago and had a good experience. I have used the service department for all regular maintenance and have appreciated the details such as car wash at return. However this past week I had an oil change and other regular maintenance and when my car was returned to me, the driver side window wiper blade was MISSING! It was unfortunately discovered the next day as it started raining and I was heading out of town. I had to purchase a blade and have it placed by an auto part shop. I contacted Coleman’s service manager several times to discuss and he has avoided my calls. I texted the service team member and they acknowledged and apologized, but have not responded to my request for reimbursement for the wiper blade. Left a vm with general manager yesterday and no response. Very disappointing that they would let something like this happen then dodge the customer.
