However, I was really pleased with the customer service at this store and expect I will start with them going forward, largely due to the help I received from Franco. I went in with questions about purchasing the new Samsung smartphone, and shortly after being checked in, was assisted by Franco. He was very knowledgeable and gave helpful recommendations about testing the phone/ordering/potential next steps. Based in no small on his help and info, I returned later and ordered the phone through the store. (Unfortunately Franco was already out for the day, but I wound up getting excellent service from Nate in his stead.)”

“Johnny Chau is a Guru on phone activation and setup. He is very nice and always willing to help.
Some background. We have Verizon pre-paid plan and somehow activation has always been cumbersome. When we first transferred from Verizon postpaid to prepaid, it took nearly a whole afternoon to get two lines properly set up and activated. Then, when we bought a new phone for one of the lines, it took 1.5 hours to have to Data and Call work. And, I had to spend another 2 hours with tech support over the phone at home to get the texting work. From those experience, it sounds like prepaid plan need to provision the phone, in addition to register it in Verizon database. Complicated.
Given the past experience, I felt nervous to go to Verizon store and get a new phone for the 2nd line. I was thinking to myself it could be another long night. But to my surprise, it was very fast. Johnny did his magic with his tablet. Then, when I boot up the phone, it went into activation directly. Once it was done, I got call, texting, data all connected properly. No more long phone calls with the tech support.

He kept me updated along the way and made me feel very comfortable.In our initial conversation he told me, "I respect your data and will make sure to keep it in tact", this was what solidified my decision to use him. The repair was secondary, recovering my data was my top priority- and he did just that!! My laptop is back up and running and all my data has been restored.
